"Where does it hurt, sweetie?"

"My head."

You heard the faint conversation between and EMT and an injured girl as you walked into the building. She had gauze on her forehead to stop the blood from gushing out. Mike and Will walked over to you, but El was nowhere to be found. You saw her walking towards you as she headed out to the car, not saying a word.

The rest of you followed and headed home.

"I assure you," Argyle said. "That future prom queen is gonna be fine."

"It's just rubber wheels." Jonathan assured her.

"Nuh uh." You responded. "It's plastic. But the soft kind, not the hard kind."

"What did I say?" Argyle asked sarcastically. "Roller skate attack!"

Will and Mike shared a confused look, while El stared blankly ahead.

"Thank God it wasn't an ice skate!" He continued. "That nose would've be gone!"

"Ew!" You cringed.

"It could've been so much worse!"

"What's wrong with them?" Mike whispered to Will.

"They're high."

"Higher than the sky!" You laughed.

You pulled into the drive way and made your way into the house.

"Mom?" Will called. "Are you home?"

"Well, well!" You heard from the kitchen.

"I know that voice." You whispered.

"Aren't you lot a sight for sure eyes?"

"Murray!" You and Jonathan exclaimed in unison.

"How's my favorite couple doing?"

"Really good!" Jon laughed.

"Hey, you're home!" Joyce said as she walked into the room. "Dana, Mike, it's so nice to see you!"

She embraced you both as everyone else went to sit at the table.

"I'm a little confused. Why is Murray here?" Will asked.

The rest of you joined the group at the table and began to fill your plates.

"Well, there I was, heading down the I-5, going to see a client in Ventura." He explained. "I was looking for a motel, then it hits me, "Didn't the Byers move out here?""

"What a small world." Joyce said. "It was so sweet of you to come."

"Sweeter of you to let me stay."

"And he cooks!"

"And cleans! I'm a regular little house wife."

"You should stay." You told him, trying not to slur your words.

"I would, but Joyce has that business trip."

"What business trip?" Will asked.

"Can I have your bread?" Jon whispered.

"Get your own. Stay out of my plate."

"Then can you pass me the olive oil?"

"That's wine." Argyle told him.

"I almost forgot to tell you guys." She continued. "I have to go to a conference tomorrow in Alaska."

"Alaska?" Will asked. "Tomorrow?"

"That's where they're based, the Brittanicas. Joan and Brian Brittanica."

"Do Eskimo's live in igloos still, or are they in the suburbs now?" Argyle asked Murray.
