CHAPTER 11
「 His Yellow Rose 」
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ♡︎♡︎♡︎ EUGENE WAS HAVING trouble trying to understand what he did wrong this time. In fact, he was sure that what he did wasn't all that bad and [M.Name] shouldn't be mad about it. It was just a simple little visit to his mother, he wanted to know how she was doing and if he could help her in any way he can, especially since he wanted to make a good impression to both of his parents. All of the things he does are all for him to acknowledge his feelings and how much he cares for him — how much he favours him.
However, he fails to realize that with his actions comes the fact that his beloved little secretary is dunked into even more danger. It was already bad enough that he knows more than he should about the workers way before he became the secretary, but now that one of [M.Name]'s parents has become aware of Eugene's existence, it seems danger can't be escaped all too easily.
Still, Eugene doesn't understand — he couldn't understand — why was his sweet, angelic secretary so upset?
Had he not impressed his mother? Did his actions seem too much and she thought he had an ulterior motive? Was being polite and offering help and asking permission to court her son not what he was meant to do?
So many questions and none of them were being answered. Not even by [M.Name] himself.
"Why did you do that?" After several minutes of letting him pace inside his office, the secretary himself finally spoke up, looking up and glaring Eugene with the intensity of a hundred suns. "Do what, my dear?" He asked back, he made sure to keep his tone sweet and light, he didn't want to upset him any further, not when he loves him so much. [M.Name] had an astounded look on his face, Eugene had to slowly lean back against his chair as the latter started to stride over to his desk. "You know exactly what you did, Eugene." He nearly spat at him, and this was the first time he had ever seen his precious secretary become so aggressive and — dare he say it — hot.
