Narrator's pov

Aeri's small figure stared at her dad with innocent eyes as her dad continued to tight the screw.

"Dad, when will you complete this?" Asked aeri while yawning "i don't know, it will take years and i see you are tired" the small girl nodded with her doe eyes staring at the metal and screws.

"Chaeyoung!!!!!" Aeri flinched and stared at her elder sister who was messing with her dad's dairy "y-yeah?" "Stop whatever you are doing or else no ice cream for you"

Chaeyoung's eyes widen as she instantly closed the diary.

"Let's just go home, i can't focus" aeri's lips curled up forming a huge smile "it means we are going to have ice cream!?" Asked aeri with hope in her voice.

Her dad smiled sweetly at her and nodded.

"YESSSSSSS!!!!!!" both the girls screamed in joy.

November 19, 1995

"I am so disappointed" uttered aeri's mother staring at her husband "i already told you, i was busy!!!" Uttered the dad while his gaze was fixed on his foot.

"I don't know why tf you married me if you only wanted to stay in your office!? And i don't know why you agreed to have children when you never give them any time" aeri's mother growled as her eyes was glaring at her husband.

"I don't even care that you didn't showed up but the fact that you PROMISED me that you will just breaks my heart!!! You always do this!"

"I am sorry honey, i promise to make it up to you"

"NO i wish i could just divorce and leave you" aeri's dad stared at her with pained eyes not noticing the small figure of Chaeyoung standing on the door frame of her room staring at her parents fighting.

"D-dad? Mom?"

Both of them flinched as their eyes diverted and stared at the small figure.

"Chaeyoung you a-aren't asleep yet?" Asked her dad trying to keep his voice as stable as he can.

"I heard you both fighting..." Chaeyoung said as she hugged her teddy bear tightly.

Her parents eyes soften "we'll talk about this later..." said her mother as she walked towards chaeyoung and picked her up to tuck her back in bed.

Leaving her husband alone in the living room who was biting his bottom lip hard to control his already dropping tears.

January 1, 1996

Aeri giggled as she continue to play with her sister.

"So I'll count to three" chaeyoung uttered as she covered her eyes with her hands

"1....." aeri instantly ran with her small legs desperately looking for a good hiding spot.

Her eyes fell on the couch were his dad was sitting on reading news paper.

Grinning, she ran behind and hid behind the couch.

"3!! I am coming!!!!!!!!" Aeri hugged her small body and covered her mouth with her hand to prevent any sound.

She soon heard her dad's phone ringing.

She heard him sighing but he still picked it "i told you i am not coming! I wanna spend this day with my family!!!"

"Wait you got information about jeon jungkook?" Aeri frowned.

"Tell me then" she heard her dad saying "what!?" He asked in shock "he is the famous actor!?"

Aeri was about move when she saw her sister's legs running around the living room making her gasp.

"You are kidding!!" Cried her dad as he listened in silence "he was shot dead in his girlfriend's house....?" He asked.

"His girlfriend committed suicide!?" Aeri could feel chills running down her spine as she listened to the things that she didn't even wanted to.

"His gf's dad ran away? He is so suspicious" her dad stood up and walked to his room.

"FOUND YOU!!!" aeri flinched and fell on her butt as chaeyoung laughed loudly.

"Its your turn now!!! You are so dumb! I told you to hide somewhere good" aeri glared at her while standing up slowly.

"Go and count to three will you!?" Aeri nodded but her mind was still disturbed with all the discussion that she just heard.

She knew very well that jeon jungkook was the project her dad was working on first ever humanoid but she didn't knew that he was once the famous actor that won many awards.

She sighed and closed her eyes with her hands "1.......2...........and 3!!!!! I am coming!!!!"
