The New Life

Haru can be seen fixing up the uniform he was wearing at an antique shop, with the chain containing his rings attached to his waist. He examines himself in a mirror and sighs.

Haru: Why do I have to do this again?

Koyomi, who overheard Haru, wearing her school uniform, eneterd the room.

Koyomi: Because we accepted the job from Konoe-san, since a certain someone spent our money buying donuts.

An image of an arrow with word 'donut' written in japanes is shot right at Haru's head. Haru shakes his head removing the image from the scene.

Haru: That doesn't explain why we have to enroll students though.

Koyomi: Because it'll be easier for us to keep an eye on Negi's class if we do. And......

Haru: And?

Koyomi: And you need to make friends you're own age.

Haru: I have friends!

Koyomi: Which is just me and Negi. And we hardly see him nowadays ever since you finished your training with father. All you ever do is look at the photo you keep in your photo.

Haru: Urgh.....

Koyomi instantly regrets her words as she sees Haru grunts as he looks away with a sad look in his face and grips something in his pocket. 

Koyomi: I'm sorry, I shouldn't have-...

Haru: No its fine, I get what you and Konoe-san but still......

(Later)

Haru: Why do I have to be be a student?

Haru was now  facing a classroom full of girls, with Koyomi among them, as Negi begins to introduce him to the class.

Negi: This is Soma Haru, and he'll be joining this class as an experiment for Mahora Academy's co-ed program. Haru-ani-I mean Haru-san please introduce yourself.

Haru: Seriously Negi..... I'm Soma Haru, but you can call me Haru. Nice to meet you all. 

???: Unacceptable!

Everyone turns to see that the source of the voice was from Ayaka Yukihiro.

Ayaka: Why do we suddenly have to do this co-ed experiment, when the school never announced their plans for having one.

Negi: Well....

Negi fidgeted shyly as he stood in front of his students.

Negi: The Co-ed experiment is just an excuse to have Haru in my class, as the dean thought it would be good for me to have male friend to help me in class.

After Negi's explanation Ayaka's eyes were covered by her hair. Everyone gulped in anticipation in what she would say next.

Ayaka moved moved her head to reveal that she had changed her demeanor and has a smile on her face.

Ayaka: Well if its for Negi-sensei's sake then I don't see any problem with it.

Everyone sweat drop at Ayaka's reaction, as they should have expected from Mahora's no. 1 Shotacon. The class gave the girl a knowing look, while Haru gave her exasperated one.

Haru: 'So she's the super shotacon Koyomi talked about.'

Negi: cough.....

With the sound of Negi's cough the class's attention returned to the front.

Negi: With the introductions over let's begin class. Haru-san please take a seat, I believe there's one available next Koyomi-san.

Haru: Ok.
