Prologue
Suddenly it began to Rain.
He was sitting in his car, sorrowful and regrettable. The most austere kind of sadness was surrounding his eyes.
The large orbs, taking in the surrounding, couldn't rejoice the moment. Loneliness was clenching his heart into a longing he wanted never to acknowledge. He was immersed in deep thought, pondering over his untraversed path, road he left with much unwillingness but resolute mind.
Nothing was wrong in his life. He had success, fame, money, loveable friends and in spite of all that he had no where to hide, no arms that his face at moments when he wanted to share his deepest and darkest secrets, could hold with warmth. No haven where he could unburden and cry in earnest, resting his head. No embrace where he could pour his fear, insecurity without being misjudged .
So despite having almost every luxury and comfort, deep down he was lonely. A grave emptiness was slowly but surely eclipsing him day after day. The feeling was so errie but terrifying that it felt as if something integral was slipping out of his hands.
He loved Rain.. the scent of it.. the ethereal beauty of drenched flowers. But today was different. It was the first rain of the monsoon, water droplets canoodling the Soil and everything about it brought divinity. Yet his eyes were shroudded with loss. They were hardly influencing any sign of gaiety.
He tried to pull his thin lips into a smile but only a tight scorn reflected in his beautiful face. The warm and genteel droplets failed to reach his heart. The ethereal smell with its entirety brought past memories that ushered plethora of emotions. They brought fresh pain in stead of pleasure. They reminded him of something or perhaps someone dear and suddenly just like that his large amber eyes caught the sight of a tall handsome figure, standing afar and his heart overcame with infinite dread. Gravely surprised, he looked away, putting the ignition on so he could leave the place before it was too late.
And as his car drove past the Cedar trees, leaving the amarillo eyes standing far behind, getting drenched in the first rain, a chapter that was closed somewhere in the crevice of time, opened again....!
