Hugo showed Camden and Joan into his room and it didn't take a detective to find the black ooze and it was indeed oozing, just like tar. "Now that's weird", Joan said, looking at the wall and reaching her hand out to touch it. Camden grabbed her hand to stop her from touching it. "We don't know what it is", he said, "In fact, we shouldn't be in the room. We have to evacuate and quarantine this room". Just as Camden said that, there was a low rumble. "This place is getting weirder and weirder", Hugo said, shaking his head, "If I'm leaving this room, I can't take any of the stuff in here". Camden nodded, "You can't, I'm sorry", he said, "When did you notice this stuff?". Hugo thought back and then looked at his wall. "When I came back from breakfast", he said, "That would have been about 10:35 and I thought it would just disappear but it didn't". Camden put his hands on his hips and sighed; this really wasn't what he needed. "I'll figure out what this stuff is", Camden said, "In the meantime, get the hell out of here. I need to think". Joan and Hugo exited the room and Camden sat on the floor of the room and buried his head in his hands; this really wasn't good at all.

In deepest space...

Karns paced up and down the small command centre, surrounded by his runner, Adval. "How do you know for sure?", the orange and black coloured wolf asked, "It can't be". "The single has been sent out", Adval explained, getting his portable screen up and showing Karns a glowing spot on the map of the earth, "This is the time to avenge him. Raganrok died for us and he needs to be shown the glory he deserves". "I know my father was a great leader", Karns said, "I don't think attacking a planet I know little about is the greatest way about going about it". Adval zoomed in on the map, "You won't be alone", he said, watching a blue dot appear, "I think that might be one of our friendlies". Karns sighed and looked at the map again. He wanted to be back in favour with the Gods of Verox, but he also didn't want to go running into something he knew little about.
