Germis was in his master bedroom, packing for his trip to the overworld and he felt another disturbance in his world. "Now they've really gone and done it", he whispered to himself, smiling after. He zipped his suitcase up and looked out the window to see the fire-filled underworld and breathed in the smokey air; he loved it here. The sound of rapid footsteps sounded and a knock on the door followed. "Enter", Germis called, turning back around to see his servant, Ferit, at the door. "I'm sorry to disturb you master", Ferit said, bowing at Germis's feet, "But the alter has been discovered. The portal is open. Everything will start coming out now". Germis clasped his hands together and sighed. "I think we should let it stay open for the foreseeable future", he said, "The general population won't notice until I say when". Ferit nodded. "You know the others will be summoned as well", he pointed out, "And they might not wait". "I am going to the overworld any minute now", Germis said, "I guess it'll be sooner rather than later. I'll be able to handle the others, don't worry". Ferit wasn't so sure. He walked out of the bedroom and Germis put his hands behind his head and sighed. This was going to be his moment, no one else's.
Hugo and Joan watched Camden make his way out of the wall and he looked as white as a ghost. "What's down there?", Hugo asked, "Can I go down?". Camden shook his head. "No way", he said, "Joan, I need to talk to you in private". Joan nodded and walked into a corner with Camden, out of earshot from Hugo. "I need you to gather any kid who knows the inside and outside history of this building", Camden said, "If you know it, great. If not, I need to talk to a kid or teenager that does". Joan thought for a second and looked at Camden. "I have a couple of people in mind", she said, "Leave it with me". Camden sighed; he was ready for some answers.
