"Ah. I have another request. "

A purple-haired, pink-eyed child who's wearing a pastel blue blouse, a frilly white jabot with a round-shaped tortoise jewel in it, and his blazer has a golden accessory around it that screams expensive flutter as he walks. He carries a bag full of things.

Just by looking at him, everyone will know that he's not just a normal child, but a child of some wealthy person or even a noble. And that rich-like child that is being mentioned right now is none other than our Klyden.

Usually, he would just lie down on his precious bed for hours rather than do anything like walking. But today, he decided to go to a certain place that interested him.

The Henituse territory is quite unique in not having any black market thanks to the absolute control of the count towards this area. But one of the factors he missed was that, without a black market, all the rats that were supposed to be trapped there together would be able to run more freely.

That is why most fugitives and dangerous people will end up hiding in that type of territory. It would not be strange if one in ten people you've met here is actually a criminal.

Not that he's against having a black market here. After all, it is much easier to catch a hidden rat in an open field.

After some time of walking, Klyden leisurely looked around the town that looked like it was preparing for an important event. It is still not long after Christmas, and they are now preparing for the New Year celebration. Even in the cold winter, the streets were much livelier than usual.

Klyden noticed a doll hanging on the front door of the shop. It swung as the door opened. He looked at it in envy for a second when he felt a hard object bump into him.

"Ack!" He was bumped by someone. It was hard enough that he stumbled on his feet and fell hard. He thought that it would be some kind of body builder for them to be this strong, but all he saw was a young teenager, looking down at him in confusion.

"Silas? Wait... you're not Silas. You're definitely a human. Who are you?" The child asked with indifference. Klyden adjusted his eyes and looked toward the child who had bumped into him.

It may be because of the almost non-existence sun, but the child's eyes and hair were shining like gold in his eyes. They seemed like a person from a fairy tale book, but he didn't think much of it as he's now in an actual book.

"You're not speaking? I don't know how Silas's presence reacted to you, but I'm sure that man did something again for sure. " The child crossed his arms.

"Hi! My name is Klyden! I don't know who this Silas person is, but I'll definitely be grateful to be a friend of yours!" Klyden took the initiative and introduced himself. As he assessed the situation, only one thing appeared in his mind that fit this child: no, this person's attitude and demeanor.

'A dragon' He had been feeling that something big would happen today, but he didn't think he'd actually encounter a dragon. He internally snickered.

The 'child' scoffed and said, arrogantly, "Me? Being friends with whom? Ha! You're getting ahead of yourself, child."

Every word coming from the child is revealing his true identity. In the book, dragons are known to be arrogant creatures that look down on others, especially humans. They think most of them are stupid.

"But! I witnessed your magnificent teleportation! I've never seen anything so beautifully done like that! I'd like to be friends with a great and mighty mage like you!" He beamed that isn't deemed to be sarcastic.

"Ha! As If I'll acquaint myself with some of you, especially to a child. I'll leave now." The child bade a goodbye, but Klyden suddenly hugged their arm and gripped it tight enough.
