Note: It's short, yeah. Exam is near. Danger.
"Let's go now! Father said our future instructor is finally here!"
Luticia just looked at them with a warm smile, 'He always looks like someone who won't trust other people... but isn't he already quite fond of Young Master Cale enough?'
Meanwhile, Klyden just let Cale drag him around to their father's office. After meeting 2 different individuals that will become a trouble in the future, he don't want to meet another one again.
But it seems like fate didn't want him to rest and have him meet another one. He expected their so-called instructor or tutor to arrive late this year but to think right after Christmas. His father sure is fast when it comes to recruiting people.
Their parents planned to have them home-schooled at least until they finally reach their pre-debut which is 8 years old, then proceed to the academy for 5 years.
"Dad said that the instructor is a graduated honor scholar of the Roan Academy from the North! They are also a skillful mage, he said!"
They finally arrived to their destination. To Cale's excitement, he slammed the door open but accidentally step his foot wrong.
"Ack!"
They heard a slight sneer coming from their front. They saw their father with a man, wearing a long dark-blue dress for scholars. He has a gray-ish silver hair falling down his shoulder and is properly combed and a pair of magic mint eye.
"Cale! Klyden! Come to your Da-Cough! I mean, Please come here."
Deruth stopped himself from saying something more that might ruin his image to the individual on the side of him.
"Dad! How are you?"
Cale ran towards his father that looks much exhausted than ever. His eye bags are standing out even in his tan skin.
"I'm good, Cale, thank you. How are you two? Did you enjoy your trip, Klyden?"
"Yes! I found a good place to eat near the plaza. I think we should all eat there together next time!"
Without those unpredictable individuals suddenly appearing and disappearing in front of him, it is a pretty good walk.
"Really? Then, I'll make sure to leave a time for us to go there. I promise."
Cale looked towards Deruth with a gleaming eyes. He is worried when his father haven't even gotten out of this mansion for the few months because of the preparation for the Winter and Christmas.
Normally, their mother would take care of those things as it is a duty of the wife of the lord, but their father insisted to take care of most of it as they noticed the deterioration of their mother's health. Their father said that until her health came back to normal, heavy works are forbidden. That cause their father's heavy fatigue these days.
Heh.
They heard another sneer coming from the individual in front of them. Their attention directed to them as they fake a cough, "Good Day, Young Masters. I'm Heiliger from the north. As the count might already be informed you, I will now be your instructor for most of the things that you needed to know. It is a pleasure to be your instructor." (Do you think Elishne is any better name?)
Cale, who's really relieved that he's not the only one with a slightly bad naming sense beamed.
"It's nice to meet you! Sir, um, Hei!" He shortened to name as he couldn't pronounce it properly yet.
"Please teach us well, Instructor." Meaning: Teach us but don't expect me to listen.
Klyden smiled as Sir Heiliger returned it with a smile, also.
Deruth, noticing something, interrupted the smiling contest, "It is still not yet decided if he'll become your official Tutor or not. We still need your opinion of him if you want to continue being under his care for educations. If you did not like even the slightest thing about his teaching, we can immediately kick him out, I promise you."
Cale looked at him in a slight confusion mixed with shock. Klyden, on the other hand, almost chuckled at the man's sudden change of tone when talking about the other guy.
"Haha, don't jest, Count-nim. It is already decided how they Warmly call me, right?"
Heiliger asked in a slight curt.
"It seems like the long travel makes you too tired to see straight, sir. If you would please, I'd have our trusted butler to guide you to your respective room."
Deruth showed a wide smile, contradicting his real thoughts. The kids in front of them have an amuse(K) and shock(C) expression to the scenes that they are seeing right now.
"Please don't bother. I can walk myself to there. Well then, I'll take my leave."
"Just tell me if you want to change another instructor alright? We will immediately find one." Deruth smiled 'Warmly'.
Cale can't fully comprehend what have had happened yet but he's certain that his father's smile today looks like his brother's usual smile.
At the same time, the man, leaning on the door outside them looked down. He made sure there were no other people outside to see this side of him.
He's trying to stop himself not to get caught by the children especially when that bastard is there but he couldn't help it.
heh
'THEY ARE CUTE!'
He wanted to scream those words out loud but his dignity won't allow it to escape out of his mouth. He needed to be seen as his usual, well-respected instructor but he's still a human whose weakness is cuteness.
'Damn it! How did that bastard produce such otherworldly adorable creatures! Unbelievable!'
He can't believe how lucky of a bastard Deruth is. He can hug them whenever he wants. But this time.. He'll make sure he'll make sure to do that too.
'He had not just won over the 'beauty of the Roan Academy' 's heart, but even had children that almost looked exactly like her.'
But most importantly...
He recalled what Jour had just told him a while ago.
'It seems like I need to properly take care of my adorable students.'
