"Do you get how exhausting it is when you ignore me...?"
Her arms were still wrapped around my waist and her face has been buried in my stomach. It's a side of her that was beginning to reach my favorites. "But, you were ignoring me rin," I responded when she looked up at me.
"I thought that you were beginning to feel discomfort with the sight of me."
It's too stupid to say that we're both at fault here.
"I'm sorry," I cupped her cheeks when I suddenly saw her sweet smile rise from her lips, "Sol, I'm sorry as well." She gently held onto both my hands as she even leaned her cheek more on my palm.
"You're always doing something to me."
I could feel my heart beginning to panic at the sight of her, letting my hand caress her beautiful face. My heart had fluttered and my cheeks were in heat. I knew at that moment, that this woman was the most precious thing...
"Doing what?" Her expression was as clueless as ever. "You're so cute." I smiled sweetly, pinching her cheek. Oh, god, may I look at this human being forever?
"I know that." She grinned playfully, she looked as if she was flustered yet tried to play it off.
"You do, huh?" I held her chin and made her look up at me, her hands still on my waist. Dahan-dahan akong kumandong sa kanyang mga hita. Nakita ko pa ang kanyang mga ngisi, "Mhm..." Burying her face onto my neck.
"It's late and you're already wearing your beautiful nightgown." Her voice, sounding husky had already made me so turned on. "What? Are you telling me to sleep already?" I frowned after seeing her nod her head.
"Yes, you should—"
We were both thrown off-guard when we suddenly heard her phone ringing. Annoyed by the sudden interruption, I removed myself from her as she stood up to answer her phone. Getting a glimpse from the screen, indicating who was calling her this late.
It was Gwenn.
"Does she want a goodnight from you?" I forced a laugh and asked. "No, I think It's about our project in Baguio next week." She answered me before accepting the call from her.
"Right now? Why'd you book a hotel this early? Have you informed the others?" My brows furrowed after hearing Zyrille say that. A hotel? Are they staying in the same room then? Separate rooms perhaps...? Mas maganda namang naka-hiwalay sila, they wouldn't want their privacy invaded, would they?
And is there really a need to book a hotel together? I mean, yes it would be more convenient for all of them but... Driving back and forth would practice your good sense of direction!
Damn, Soleil...
"No, Gwenn. Can we talk about this later?" I noticed her swift her eyes onto me and so, I showed a forced smile. They're meeting up later. And I shouldn't worry about that. I really shouldn't...
I've already established that I'm indeed a jealous person when it comes to her yet, I still know that I don't have the right to be this way. I don't have the right to be jealous, to get possessive over whoever gets to be with her.
