Bora felt empty when she put her suitcase in the trunk of the taxi. She knew that if she let her emotions flow, she would break down and might not go through with her plan to leave Korea. She would just ask the driver to turn around and call Taehyung, who would just feel miserable. Or worse, he would start to belittle her and tell her not to overreact and that somehow the tweets had some kind of truth as he was spending a lot of his money on her.
New tears came to her eyes as her mind came up with the wildest scenarios of how Taehyung would react. Maybe he would just tell her that it was all just for fun with her and that he played her and was in love with another girl.
"How can you be so naive, Bora?" she mumbled as the taxi came to a halt in front of the departure hall.

The taxi driver was friendly and helped Bora bring her luggage to the airport entrance.
"You seem sad," he told her with a comforting grin, "just let me tell you that we should not see with our eyes but our heart." Bora looked at the older man and thanked him, giving him a generous tip.
After taking a deep breath, Bora stepped into the massive departure lounge. Her eyes tried to focus on the counters, blinking away the tears which were about to run down her face. Finally, she spotted the counter of the airline she had contacted on her ride to the airport to purchase the soonest flight out of Korea and back to Europe.
"Thank you so much," Bora gratefully said when the woman handed her the ticket for the economy class seat towards London.
"You need to hurry, Miss. The check-in counter will close in thirty minutes," The lady told her, pointing at the check-in counter.
Bora ran over and was the last in line to check in her suitcase.
"We are really sorry, but there seemed to be a minor issue with your seat. We overbooked economy class, so I hope you will not mind an upgrade to business class." The stewardess informed Bora with a bright smile. Surely no sane person would refuse an upgrade!
"Sorry, but is there no seat available in economy? Please check again." Bora insisted, looking over the counter.
"No, Miss, but the upgrade is free of charge. So please accept the upgrade. We are really sorry for the inconvenience." The stewardess was a bit stunned at Bora's angry reaction to an upgrade. "and you are last to board, so..."
"I get it. Give me the upgrade, then." For an outsider, Bora's reaction would have seemed to be one of a rotten girl.

With her upgraded ticket in hand, Bora walked over to passport control when suddenly a camera flashed at her.
"Are you Taehyung's fake girlfriend?" A man asked her as he tried to obstruct her way.
"I ... I ..." Bora stuttered, surprised by the sudden attention.
"Yes, you are the gold digger! The one who lives on Taehyung's money!" Another man exclaimed as more camera's started to film Bora.
"No! No!" Bora tried to hide her face, but it was in vain. Only when a security officer stepped in and guided her toward the border control would the paparazzi fall back.
Bora felt relieved when she finally passed the control and walked towards the boarding gate.
"Look, that's her." A female voice shouted, pointing at Bora.
"Oh my god, look, she is in business class. I am sure that is all with our poor Taehyung's money," Another woman added in a loud voice.
Tears returned to Bora's eyes, but she would not give these girls the satisfaction of seeing her cry. With her head high, she boarded the plane, and only when she took her seat near the window, did she let some tears escape her eyes.

Soon the boarding was completed, and Bora leaned back, her eyes closed until the security instructions started on the screen in front of her.
Taehyung's unique voice made her eyes open wide. BTS moved through the video, showing the rest of the passengers how to stay safe in case of emergency while simultaneously breaking Bora's heart into a million pieces.
"I will never forget you," Bora whispered, her fingers running over Tae's face as the latter smiled at her before the screen turned black.

Taehyung was unaware of what was going on. BTS's schedule had been hectic, and after the first news came out, the managers had tried their maximum not to give the members the possibility to check on social media.
Yoongi was the first one done with the last photoshoot for a Japanese magazine, and he convinced the manager that he needed to check his phone as he was a caring dad and needed to check on his kids. Reluctantly the manager gave Yoongi his cell phone. As soon as he unlocked it, he was swarmed with notifications. As he scrolled through them, he looked up at the manager.
"Did you tell him?" Yoongi inquired, but the manager shook his head.
"Look, I will not keep this from him. He is my brother, and this is something he needs to know about." Yoongi explained to the manager, who tried his best to convince Yoongi that it was already taken care of by HYBE.
