Chapter 20 ~ New regime

"Bloom have you got my purple jumper?" shouted Destiny from the other room.

"Yeah hold on" Bloom replied carrying the jumper into Destiny's room. In which Stella had moved out of, due to Queen Luna making sure Stella was not sharing a room so she could 'focus on her studies'.

"Thanks" Destiny said scurrying to find her books 

"Come on we need to go Rosalind will punish us again" Musa shouted to the suite

"Well some of us, she will obviously favour Dezzy and Bloom" Stella replied 

"We don't ask for it Stell, and she is only favouring us because she is just using us" Destiny said to Stella

"Come on we need to get to the stone circle" Aisha said pushing everyone out the door

"Your emotions are a tool. Nothing more, nothing less. They're a power source. You've been told to control them."

Bloom stood in the middle of a circle facing another fairy, the vessel separating them.

"That isn't always the best option"

Bloom used her powers to cause a ball of fire to form in her hand as she stared at the fairy who had sparks of electricity flowing between his fingers.

The boy fairy attacked Bloom and a wave of worried sighs ran over the crowd. Destiny had a worried expression on her face

Rosalind continued "In combat, you'll need to rely on instinct."

Bloom struggles to relight her flames while the boy aims an energy beam right at her hand, and he shoots again. Bloom getting hurt again

Rosalind rolled her eyes "You'll need to let go"

And time and time again Bloom gets hit with electricity on her hands, until she had enough. She let out a frustrated yell and stormed towards the middle calling upon stronger magic her hands igniting with large flames.

"That's when you find true power" Rosalind smiled

Bloom slows down and starts to control her breathing, her eyes faded back to her natural colour and she walked away.

Bloom and Destiny stood in the headmistresses office staring at a cabinet

"The middle of the pack, I have been evaluating students over the past month, and that's where you land." Rosalind said with a disappointed tone 

"Better than the bottom" Bloom said sarcastically 

"We try our best" Destiny said

"Bullshit" Rosalind replied "You two transformed last year. Though Destiny has appeared higher than Bloom she is still not the top where you two should be. You turned the school upside down looking for answers. You are powerful, this is a choice"

"When Dowling was headmistress, I was doing really well" Bloom said sitting down

"Loyalty is important, and it should be valued. Yours and Destiny's are misplaced, Farah ran Bloom. I don't know if she was scared of the consequences of locking me under the school or if she simply saw the writing on the wall when Luna reinstated me, but she ran." 

"That is what's bullshit, mum wouldn't run not from you and not when Bloom and I are still here, she just wouldn't" Destiny said sternly 

"The Solarian army is looking-" Bloom said
