Mackenzie and Edward walk back to the Cullen house hold with their hands intertwined. Mack glances at her feet, noticing a little bit of fire appears below them. The girl turns around, seeing she has left a trace of black footprints.
-I did that? - The newborn stops on her tracks. Edward looks at the footprints, noticing they let some smoke out. Mack screeches in surprise by seeing her hand letting flames out. She realises how her hair takes a deep red colour, so she holds some hair strands, confused. - Why the hell do I have my hair dyed? - She analyses the burgundy hair strands.
-Your hair turned that colour when you began transforming. - Edward approaches his wife once more. Mack grimaces, and interwines her hand with his to keep walking towards the house. - You ran away from human blood mid-hunt. Even mature vampires have problems with that.
The vampire marriage stops on their tracks by seeing three people exiting the house: Seth, Leah, and Embry. The three werewolves approach the vampires while Mack smiles.
-You're still here. - She says, excited.
-So, are you. I didn't expect you to seem so... you. - Embry smiles - Except for the creepy eyes and the hair strands. I got used seeing you with your completely brown hair.
Mackenzie lifts up her hand, preventing the three wolves from approaching her. They notice how her hand lets out a red-kind-of-orange smoke.
-I would keep my distance for now. - She warns, fearing to hurt anyone.
-It's safer for the baby to see how you do with us first. - Seth and Embry say in unison, confusing the newborn.
-Now you care about my daughter? - The girl asks sarcastically.
Edward glares at Seth and Embry, who glance down, until the youngest decides to speak.
-All right. Now, take a whiff. - Embry and Leah get beside him, agreeing with his idea.
Mack takes a step forward, and starts sniffing the wolves. She grimaces in disgust, making the present boys smile, especially her husband.
-I can see what everyone's been talking about. Guys, you... you really do stink. - Everybody laughs by the newborn's comment.
Edward smiles, and approaches his wife to take her by the waist. Mackenzie looks back at her husband, who softly kisses her head, making her smile.
-You guys really look great together. - The girl frowns after hearing Embry's words, but nods slowly, anyway.
-Wanna come meet our daughter? - Edward asks, immediately catching Mack's attention.
The burgundy-haired nods excitedly. The three wolves turn around, walking back inside the house. Mackenzie and Edward start walking, following the wolves, until arriving at the living room.
