To say Arlo was excited for her date with Sebastian was an understatement. Her grin widened as she clipped her gold earrings in, staring in the mirror at her reflection.

"Where are you guys going again?" Belly asked from where she was sat on her bed, her eyes on an old 90's fashion magazine that Arlo brought with her.

"To the bowling alley off Main," She responded, scanning her outfit, trying to recall the name of the place, "Rock 'N' Bowl," she remembered, applying a fresh coat of lipgloss.

The teenage girl had opted for something more practical than cute, a new pair of Ed Hardy jeans on her legs, the yellow logo painted around the back. She matched it with a crop top, a Vivienne Westwood necklace, and a plain black clutch.

Finished with how she looked, she turned around, slapping her hands to her thighs. "How'd I look?"

Belly smiled as she looked up from the magazine. "Perfect!"

"Thanks Bels." She sat down next to her, squeezing her into a hug, Arlo's familiar strawberry scent filling Belly's nostrils. After she let go, Arlo checked her phone to see a text from Sebastian.

i'll see you in a bit, gorgeous

At the use of the nickname, Arlos face broke into a grin, clutching her phone to her chest.

"I'll see you in a bit, Belly," She got to her feet moving towards the door. "Enjoy your date with Cam Cameron," She winked.

"Shut up." Belly's face flushed, the younger girl covering her face with her hands. "You know he was nervous."

"Bye Belly," She called, descending the stairs on her phone.

"Bye," She heard Belly chirp. The girl made it to the landing, sliding her white tekno nikes onto her feet before walking to say goodbye to the boys.

"Where are you going?" A voice made her yelp, pressing a hand to her chest as she turned around to see Conrad, his green eyes raking over her figure almost ravenously.

She must have been imagining things.

"Why do you always sneak up on me?" She muttered, feeling her throat constrict under his gaze.

"You didn't answer my question." He pointed out bluntly, trying to seem disinterested.

"Fine," She groaned, "I'm going to the new bowling alley."

"On a date?" He finished, doing that annoying Conrad thing in which he could read her mind.

When Arlo didn't answer, he shot out another question.

"With who?"

His tone was beginning to piss her off. It sounded like he thought she wasn't allowed to go on dates. Arlo rolled her eyes.
