This was posted on my Insta on May 25th of 2020, and for those who don't know, my birthday is May 25th.

I got a set of oil pastels from the dollar store, from my neighbor, on my birthday that year, and they wanted me to draw them a picture with the gift she gave me.

Just to practice I found an image on Pinterest, (the one above) sketched it out, and colored it using the oil pastels.

I've never used pastels before so I thought this was pretty good.

She also gave me a pretty yellow flower and told me to color that for her.

I procrastinated by watching oil pastel videos on YT. Eventually I drew the flower, but I kept the picture. I don't have an image of the flower, but the flower irl died.

She never asked me if I was finished with it or anything about the drawing, so I'm assuming she forgot about it.
