The Hines Children walk into their home, but notice blood trailing towards one room, Their Father's room. Klaus Hines looked at his Siblings.
Klaus: Should we call the police?
Henri:...I say we run...
Liz: Henri, no, I'm with Klaus on the police thing.
Samantha looked at her siblings.
Samantha: Wait...what if we call...Nick?
Henri:...I like that idea better....Nick will know what to do.
The children called Nikolaus. He came fast. Faster then usual. He opens the door.
Nick: Children? where's louie?
Samantha: in his room i think...
Nick ran to Louie's room. He repeatedly knocked on the door.
Nick: Louie! open up it's Nick. OPEN UP PLEASE!
Louie opened his door a creak.
Louie: Nick?
Nick: Can I come in.
Louie:...quietly...
Nick went in. Louie peeked through the door to make sure his children weren't near. He closed the door. The Hines children stare at the door. Was Louie okay? was Nick gonna come out okay? Are they both gonna come out okay? Eventually, Nick came out, closing the door.
Nick: Well children...i'll be staying over for a bit...
Henri: Why?
Nick:...reasons....i have to help your father...he's...not normal again.
Klaus: again? what do you mean again?
Nick: it's hard to explain....
Nick patted little Klaus on the head. Nick went to go wait for Louie to come out until..
Henri: WAIT!
Nick looked at Henri.
Henri:...can Bev stay too??
Nick: NO!
Henri's eyes widen.
Nick: sorry...uh...yeah..of course...i'll go pick her up.
Nick took his car keys out his pocket, He went out to his car, and couldn't think of anything but how Louie was when he walked in to the room. Nick didn't wanna deal with this. but he must protect the children. With how Louie was, Nick couldn't just leave the children...he needed to protect them...Louie might hurt them...or worse. Even though Nick was already going through too much, He's gonna risk his mental health for kids that aren't even his. He sees them as his step kids or even real kids anyway. He wasn't dating or married to Louie. But he loved Louie, he's just too afraid he'll be a stuttering idiot once he gets ready to confess, but he's been ready to confess since his senior year. But, once again, Nick will risk his mental and emotional health for his best friend and crush's children.
