Nick's First Morning staying at The Hines Household

In the morning the children usually wait for Father Louie's usual wake up call. But instead Nick did it.

Nick: Kids! Breakfast! Take as much time as you need.

The children came, Louie surprisingly wasn't the one making breakfast. Nick was making Breakfast. The Hines kids were excited about this. In their opinion, Nick's cooking was better then Louie's. The children went to sit at the table, Henri didn't he had noticed Bev was in his seat.

Henri: BEV!

Henri ran over to Bev and Hugged her tightly. Bev dropped her pencil and turned over to hug Henri. Bev Smiled.

Bev: Morning, Henri, You sleepy head, i was waiting for you!

Henri: I waited for you to come over all night.

Bev pulled out of her hug from Henri.

Bev: When my dad said we could sleep over here for a while, i was super excited. 

Henri smiled.

Bev: Oh and I'm in your seat, I'm so sorry!

Henri: Oh no no! Bevy don't worry it's okay, I'll pull a chair over for myself, you can sit in it.

Bev: Okay!

Henri pulls a chair over and puts it in-between Bev's seat and Klaus's seat. Henri sits. Bev smiled and went back to drawing. Bev liked Henri, She just didn't know how to tell him, plus she knows her Father is in love with Mr. Hines. So she keeps her crush on Henri a secret, Because Henri might be her future step-brother. Louie was sitting in his seat at the table already. Klaus of course was studying, as usual. Klaus was the "Perfect Golden" Child. Louie had Klaus be perfect, Because The Hines are seen by the whole town as dangerous, weird and other mean words. Just because Louie as a child ruined the family name. Nick had finished cooking, He placed plates in front of each children, Before he went to go put one in front of Louie, He looked at him.

Nick: Louie, are you eating?

Louie:...as much as i love your cooking...no thanks...

Nick: Okay. 

Nick gave Louie a quick kiss on the top of the head, He was aware of Louie having an eating disorder, He didn't wanna force Louie to eat if he didn't want to. Nick sat next to Louie, Nick wasn't really feeling hungry so he's not eating. Louie took out a cigarette packet, He takes one out and lights it.

Nick: jesus Louie, Not Infront of the kids...

Louie flipped Nick off and smoked his cigarette. Nick sighed. Nick Put his head on Louie's shoulder. He took a glance at all the children, Everyone was eating, Bev was eating and drawing. Klaus however was more focused on his studying then his food. Nick looked at Klaus.

Nick: Klaus, Buddy...It's summer, You don't need to study.

Klaus:...I know...it's just....Father Louie says i can't eat...specific things...

Nick:...Well...I'm sure you can eat this. It's up to Louie's standards of what you can eat.

Klaus:...So...

Nick: Mmm hmm..

Klaus put the book down and ate. Nick truly cared for this kids. Honestly, Even if Nick is Male, always has been, He sometimes truly feels like a mom to these kids. I mean he would be a Better mom than Barbara Hines. Barbara Hines didn't deserve to be Samantha's mom. After Breakfast, Nick's phone rang. He looked at it. It was his older brother...Dan.

Nick: Welp....i better answer this.

Nick answered.

Dan: Hey Nick.

Nick: Hello...

Dan:...So you and Bev are really staying at Louie's a bit.

Nick: Yeah...

Dan:...Unusual for you...everything okay?

Nick:...yeah everything is fine...

Dan:...Nick...even your other daughter is worried. Nick i know your not doing well....I saw the notes....

Nick:...Which ones...

Dan:...The suicide ones...I saw the razors too...Nick...you can tell me anything...I'm your older brother...I'll support you...and if i need to watch the kids i can...They are my nieces...

Nick:...I'M FINE! WHY DO YOU HAVE TO SO WORRIED! YOU NEVER CARED WHEN WE WERE KIDS! CAUSE YOU WERE THE KING OF CAVETOWN HIGH! NOW SUDDENLY WERE GROWN UP YOU CARE!?!? WHAT THE FUCK DAN?!!?!

Dan stayed silent. he took a deep breath in.

Dan:..Because Know i realized how much of a dickhead i was...and i don't wanna wake up, with my brother dead...from himself...And his two lovely daughters...not only not having a mother...but now not having a father...Jesus fucking christ Nikolaus...I'm trying to treat you better than our mother did.

Nick teared up hearing Dan mentioning their mother. their mother was a terrible woman. Tears slightly dripped down Nick's cheek.

Nick: Don't. Mention. That. Son...Of...a..BITCH!...You know what she did....

Dan:...I know...I know..she was a terrible woman...especially to you....and I treated you like shit...

Nick:...I know.....I know...I just wanna forget about her...

Dan:...i know...just....Luciana wanted me to check on you...and...well...Nick...she's seen the notes too...

Nick remained silent,silently crying. Dan sighed.

Dan:...let me know when your coming home....Luciana already misses you...and i think she's sick of my cooking.

Nick: Are you cooking only grilled cheese again?

Dan:...No...

Nick sighed.

Nick: Just don't burn the house down...You almost cost me a lot of money because the last time you almost did.

Dan:...got it.

Nick wiped his tears and said goodbye to his older brother. Nick sighed. The memories of His mother came flooding back in his head, Like his tears he kept holding in moved through his head with those terrible memories. Nick was only 9 when he dealt with his horrible mother.
