Everything was in snippets.

One moment I was screaming on the floor of a road near the edge of town, the next I was in a vehicle. In the back seat I could barely see, I could barely feel my body other than the raging pain that would hit and then run in my body. There were a lot of people in the vehicle, all of them loud as they drove us down a road. I couldn't look around or move my body now. My brain was on for a mere moment as I felt tears still crying out of my eyes. I was gasping for air as I clutched my clothes.

Everyone was yelling around me, someone's hand kept coming into my vision as they grabbed my head from falling forward over and over again. It felt like a fire struck my forehead every time they touched me.

I knew I was screaming and crying. I knew that I was shaking and my body was still in agony and severe pain. I knew something was wrong and that I was raising hell with my voice right now.

A cold sweat coated my skin everywhere making my clothes stick to me as I clutched my clothes to the point of ripping. My hair stuck to my face and my eyes barely opened. What I could see was I was in the back of a truck with two guys in front, one of them looking back at me every once in a while. The only definite thing I could see was a yellow glow around his face, his eyes specifically before I passed out.

My body forced me awake as I was pulled out of the vehicle. and into someone's body. A bunch of blurry figures were around us. Everything was still loud as my head lulled back and forth. I tried to stay conscious, but everything around me just told me to go back to sleep and let it all happen. Something in my head told me to stay limp and let them hold me. Whoever was holding me was cold against my sweaty skin and caused me to lean more into them as I shook violently.

Everyone was running around us, it made my head twist and my stomach churn. I wanted to hide away and vomit on whatever was holding me right now. God I felt so sick right now. My body wouldn't let me move and my eyes blurred their vision between going in and out of seeing black to see a blur of people.

The person holding me was running, I could hear their heartbeat as they ran. They seemed familiar, something about them told me I knew them. That this was okay, it was an unsettling feeling as I blacked out again.

And then suddenly there were people running all around me, my eyes barely opened, I could hear everything around me. A monitor beeped, people spoke about medicines, someone was holding my hand. Everything was still dark or blurry and constantly switched back and forth between the two. I tried to move. I tried to force my body up or my eyes more open than they were.

I could feel someone's hands touching me, pressing against my body in which I knew my body reacted. Although I was screaming at the touches, my eyes reverted back to being shut and my body moved to avoid people's hands.

I was probably in a hospital and they were going to call my dad. He was going to kill me if I didn't die here. I couldn't let him get me. I needed to get out of here now. I used what I could with my vision still going in and out.

I needed to leave. I tried to move my body yet it felt like my brain was disconnected from every part of my body. I could feel myself moving for a moment before the person holding my hand stood and caught me. They rolled my back onto my back and held me down as more people surrounded us.

A mild pain was in my arm as I was poked with a needle and then passed out again.

—————

The first thing that I was able to understand was a beeping sound next to me. It was loud and clear, a steady beeping. While it was loud, it was soft. It was a small ring in my ears as I was able to fully open my eyes this time. Being able to rub them with my hands that I had control over now felt relieving and clearing. I was actually able to see now.
