"Mary, we need to address this."

"I know. I...I just don't know how. Tristan wouldn't have kept this from us if he knew that he was...that he could..." Mary was at a loss for words in the kitchen as she, Dean, and Hunter were gathered around the table.

It was well past the evening and I had woken up in my room in the house instead of that weird doctor's office that I normally would when I passed out like this. I didn't have anything attached to my body and I felt no pain like these last few times, so I immediately went looking for people but when I found everyone in the kitchen talking about me, I stayed behind the corner, just listening for now.

"Mom, he didn't know. He doesn't know anything about us-"

"We don't know that." Dean interrupted Hunter, his voice harsh and mean. It was clear he was angry about anything and everything right now. Why he was angry at me was beyond me though. But Hunter interjected again, "We do. I do. Tristan has no idea about any of this, he doesn't know what he did. We can't just put this on him and interrogate him because he had this... accident."

"You were hurt because of Tristan! Lucas warned us about this, just seconds before this happened. I can not risk him hurting anyone else in this house, in this pack. This is going to be addressed with him. We have to assume he knows everything right now for everyone's safety."

This pack? I had hurt Hunter?

"Dean, he's been through so much."

"And he is about to go through a lot more if this isn't addressed. He is a danger if he can't control his power, and he will be hunted by a lot more people than just Lucas. When he wakes up, you and I will be discussing this with him."

"Dad, please don't. Let me talk to him, I can-"

"You." Dean pointed to Hunter, "Are not going near Tristan until I talk to him. You do not know half of what he is capable of, none of us do. And I am not risking your safety after last night."

"He didn't know what was happening, he was scared-"

"Hunter, I said no. You are not going near him until I figure out what is going on with him. Am I clear?" Hunter stood, his chair scrapping against the floor and falling over making Mary jump in her seat. He stormed out of the room through the door connected to the kitchen that led to Marys garden, and out of sight with the door slamming behind him. It shook the room as his parents watched him leave.

"He is just scared, Dean. You know they are bonded, he just wants control right now."

"I can't afford to give him control right now, Mary. Hunter could get hurt and I will put his safety before his comfort, and before Tristan." Dean was visibly upset in every way, staring at the door Hunter left through as he spoke to his wife. "Just because he bonded to Tristan doesn't mean he is safe. He was hurt by Tristan."

"Dean-" Deans head cut to the door and before I could move out of the way, I was caught, "Tristan...come out here." I slowly slipped from the shadowed wall and into the kitchen where Mary and Dean were at the table. "You're awake." She smiled at me but her hands were balled up tight on the table.

"Y-Yes, I just woke up. I...I wasn't in the room I usually wake up in. I didn't mean to eavesdrop I was just trying to find someone."

"We didn't want to move you to the doctor's home after what had happened." Dean pulled out a chair and motioned for me to come in. "Sit down, we have some things we need to discuss."

I looked at the door where Hunter left, "Where did Hunter go?"

"Probably for a run. Now sit down, Tristan." I sat down in the chair across from the two and watched them for what felt like years before Dean spoke, "Tristan, I need you to be honest with me. If I find out that you aren't, there are going to be some serious consequences."
