~~Lina's P.O.V ~~

The next morning, I wake up to my alarm ringing at 9 am, this new sleeping schedule will take some time to get used to, but after a week, it'll be fine. I slide out of bed and put on some black leggings with a low-cut t-shirt to match, I pull my hair into a messy bun and slide on some socks and sneakers so I can be ready to do whatever needs to be done today. I walk down to the kitchen, following the smell of bacon. I make my way into the kitchen, stopping at the sight of an older redheaded woman slaving over the hot stove all alone. "Can I help you with anything, ma'am?" She turns to me with a wide, peaceful smile, one I'm not too familiar with. "That's quite alright, sweetheart, but good morning Lina, I'm Ms. Gretchen, your head maid." I nod, returning her smile, feeling relaxed under her soft vibes." Good morning to you too, Ms. Gretchen, " she slides over a plate covered in pancakes, sausage, and bacon, laying perfectly across it. "This looks amazing!" I gush digging in right away."When's the last time you had a good home-cooked meal?" I try to think back as far as I can, but quickly push the thoughts away not wanting to remember too much of what most call childhood.

"It's been a while, I suppose." She places a cup down in front of me "Coffee or juice?" I swallow the piece of pancake in my mouth."Coffee, please." She nods, pouring the coffee into my cup."Sugar or cream?" I shake my head, taking a sip of the hot coffee."I prefer it bitter." She chuckles."You and Nico have very weird tastes." She places two more plates down, but no one else is here."They're for Paul and Frank; Tony and Nicoli usually stay in the office for a while in the mornings." I finally finish up the last of my breakfast taking my plate to the sink," so you were the one who washed the dishes then?" I slowly nod a bit worried I may have overstepped."I apologize if I did something wrong." She looks taken back for a moment before answering "Honey you cleaned up a mess. I always end up picking up early in the morning. No apology is needed." She waves dismissively with a smile making me giggle as I clean my plate and place it in the now-clear rack.

"Would it be alright if I took breakfast up to Nicoli?" She raises her eyebrows at me with amusement."You aren't afraid of him, are you?" I furrow my eyebrows in confusion."I don't see why I should be. If he wanted me dead, he would've killed me." A wide smile finds its way across my face as I catch her jaw-dropping expression "Well you're the first to be so relaxed about being here." I shrug."It's better than my house, and besides, all I ever do is work and school, so this is the same deal, just a different job." She eyes me for a moment, giving me a small nod "Well you are going to give Nico a run for his money." She smiles, placing two plates onto a serving tray with one coffee and one orange juice and sending me off to the servant's elevator. When the door opens on the top floor, I step out, walking past my bedroom and straight to the office doing my best to knock on the door with everything in hand.

"Come in." I hear a harsh voice on the other end, I lightly push the door open with my foot before slowly making my way into the office. "Wow," I mumble, taking in the large window in front of me with books surrounding the walls and a desk right in front of the window overlooking the entire estate. "Did you need something, pet?" Tony snaps from the couch in front of the bookcase, I roll my eyes, taking a deep breath."I brought you both breakfast." I say, walking up to the desk, completely ignoring Tony."I apologize if I interrupted you, Capo." I say with puppy dog eyes, the sides of his mouth twitch up in amusement waking up the butterflies that have been dormant in my stomach."I don't usually eat for another hour." He returns, leaning back against his seat "Mmm well I can't let my boss work on an empty stomach." I smile, sliding the plate down in front of him along with the coffee watching his gaze run down my shirt."Capo, your eyes are trailing." I whisper, sending his gaze snapping back to mine."That'll be all." He clips. I nod, walking over to Tony, handing him his orange juice, and placing the plate on the coffee table in front of him. "Can I get you anything else?" I ask. He gives me a stern look shaking his head."No." I stand grab the tray and begin making my way to the door."Do not disturb me for the rest of the day." Nicoli clips, sending my eyes rolling before turning back to face him one last time."No problem." I grumble, walking out, feeling anger rushing over me.
