It's been a week since me and Josh started this fake relationship deal, we text a bit but haven't really seen each other since that day.
Josh: hey princess, what you doing? Skye: ew don't call me that🙄 and nothing just making pasta and yourself? Josh: ooh pasta, enough for me?😉 Skye: no Josh: so mean😢 anyways I'm heading over, see you soon😘 Skye: ew🖕🏻
I put my phone down and throw a jumper on seeing as he's heading over and I'm just in a sports bra as no one's home I didn't need to be dressed. 10 minutes later the door opens and Josh walks in "excuse me couldn't you knock? What if I was naked?" "In the kitchen making pasta? He says confused "I mean you do you, and I wouldn't complain if that was the view I walked into" I share a disgusted look at him and dish up pasta.
"Anyways I came over for a reason" he says snatching some pasta and I smack his hand off "which is?" "Ouch so mean" he pouts and I just roll my eyes. "So anyways, as I was saying, we need to be seen together in public, as nice as the texts are we need to be a couple remember"
"Ah yes being seen in public with you" "Cute" he laughs at me and blows a kiss. "Okay so what was you thinking?" I grab a fork and jump up on the counter. "We need to be seen on a date to show the world I have a girl" "Okay great, so when and where?" I say tucking into my pasta. "Tonight, but first...we need to go shopping" he says and I exchange a confused look "shopping...why??"
"As cute as this look is" he scans me up and down and points to my oversized jumper and joggers "I'm famous and need to be seen with a girl in nice clothes" "Thanks for the reminder and insult?..." "No problem anytime" he says smiling, "now let's go" he grabs his car keys and pushes me out the door"
We get in his car and he drives over to side of town I never normally go, mostly because it's filled with expensive shops, ones my father and I could never afford. "Okay we're here" he says pulling outside of a designer clothes store. "Here??" I say as he's taking off his seatbelt "Yes here" he opens his door and gets out. I take my seatbelt off and follow him inside the store.
I look around at clothes mostly the prices and he picks up a handful of clothes and passes me them "go try those on" he says as I take the clothes "fine" I say and head into the changing rooms. Every outfit I try on I head out and show him it's like a massive photoshoot, I hate to admit it but I'm having a great time and he has amazing fashion sense.
"Okay we'll take them all" he says to the shopping assistant "what no?? This is like a full wardrobe and i don't even want to imagine the price" I say before I finish he hands the shop assistant money, more money then I've seen in my life before "Josh..." I say and he just puts a finger to his lips to shh me "oh and keep this between ourselves, no one knows about us yet" he says to the assistant and she nods in agreement.
He hands me the bags and we quickly get into his car before anyone notices us, he drives me home and just as we pull up to my house he finally speaks "so I'll pick you up at 8, be ready and oh look nice" he smiles and I smile sarcastically and get out and head inside, I go upstairs and put my new clothes into the wardrobe hiding all the bags before my dad or sister sees.
A while later I hear my dads voice so I head downstairs "hey dad" I sat approaching him "oh hey Skye, you coming tonight?" He says hanging his coat up" "Umm...I actually gave my first shift tonight" I say playing with my hands nervous as I've never not gone and was worried of what he was going to say. "Oh that's okay have fun kiddo, your first job" he says messing my hair up "thanks...you're not mad?..." "Mad? Why would I be mad? Go out there and earn yourself some money" he chuckles and I smile at him. "Anyways I best get going before it gets too late" he kisses my cheek and leaves the house.
I check the time and it's 6:56 "shit" I say and run upstairs to my room, I hunt through my wardrobe picking up an outfit, I put it on and do my makeup and hair I look in the mirror, this is the best I've looked in ages.

I throw on some knee highs boots and an oversized denim jacket my phone goes over and I see a text from Josh
Josh: outside now
I put my phone in my pocket and head outside I get into the car. "Hmm not bad I guess I have good fashion sense" he says checking me out. "Shutup" i say putting on my seatbelt. "Ooh an aux" I say taking it and plugging my phone "oh no, gonna play my music are we fan girl?" he says smirking "you wish i was" I say sassily and start playing the script. "Ooh good music taste" he says starting to sing along "thanks it's mine and my mums favourite." I smile slightly and sing the words quietly
"Here we are" he pulls up to a place with some people around but not too many. "Here we go" i sigh and go to get out but before I can he stops me "wait" he says pulling me back "what?" I stop and look at him and he grabs a hat and some glasses and puts them on me. "Excuse me? What's that for? I spent ages on my hair and makeup to have it covered?" "It's a disguise, yano from the paps" he says getting out "I thought the whole idea was for the world to see us together?" I say getting out the car.
"Yes but the mystery will be a better story" he says putting an arm around me and whispering "now start laughing" I question him about what he just said and then notice paps, I laugh and we look at each other laughing just as they snap pictures. "Perfect, now that'll do" he smiles. "See ya later princess" he says walking away. "Wait where you going??" I ask "somewhere, don't worry I got you a taxi"
