chapter seventeen

The rest of the day I was to overwhelmed and overworked to go to classes, me and Theo just stayed in his dorm and slept .

As dinner came around students poured in the great hall, but not me . I woke up with a sudden jolt, I sat upright in Theo's bed , but he was gone .
I looked at the note laying next to me as it read
"Ive headed down for dinner , if I don't see you I'll bring some up but try to make it down here . "

When I saw the heart my stomach burned with butterflies it was almost unbearable. I contemplated staying, it would be to akward for him to see me blushing at everything he said. I would have to face him anyway.

When I walked into the dinning hall I saw Blaise and Theo talking across from each other
"Hello Olivia," He greeted me as I sat next to him He seemed so peaceful.

"Hey," I smiled at him and Blaise

We all ate in silence, except for panzy being loud as usual a couple seats down .

I looked down to see Riddles foot inching it's way to mine , when he touched his foot to mine I quickly moved mine away.

"What's wrong?" Riddle quietly asked me .

"I have to use the bathroom excuse me," I said getting up and leaving to my dorm . I felt awkward and needed to get out of there , I should have just stayed in his dorm .

When I got to my dorm I shut the door and locked it.
I sat on my bed and pulled out a book .

Within seconds I hard a knock at my door , I didn't even breath .
"Olivia?" He asked impatiently.

"Fine I'll just stand here ," He said as he stopped knocking .

I sighed and began reading again I was really invested in this book it made me feel really happy, an escape from reality.
I've heard people say that but never really understood it until now . I looked at my clock after what felt like a couple minutes, a hour,  had passed .

"Riddle?" I whispered , wondering if he was still there .

"Yea?" He responded.
A smile creeped onto my lips as I blushed .
I closed my book and set it on my nightstand, I unlocked the door and sat back  down on my bed .

The door opened a couple minutes later ,
"Hi," He smiled at me .
"Hi ," I responded as he sat down next to me

I layed down on my back with my knees up in the air .
"What's wrong?" He asked .

"It's you ," I smiled .

"What do you mean, did I do som-?" He asked .

"No,no it's the way you make me feel , make me feel so stupid your annoying," I laughed .

"You make me smile and laugh , for the dummest reasons! " I laughed .

I saw him smile , but he didn't say anything.
"Oh really?" He asked me with a smirk .

"Yes really, " I said .

"How do I make you feel again?" He smirked moving over towards me more

"Don't get ahead of yourself ," I punched his chest , but he didn't move away, he smiled at me and looking into my eyes as I did the same as I beagn to zone out .

-"HELP! SOMEONE HELP !" We heard someone scream from the common room breaking our attention from one another.

"Who was that ?" I asked .

"No idea ...." He said
