Chapter 2: Fight

There it was there was that same familiar news sound the breaking news letters in Bold Red everyone knew what was about to happen.

Denver was a small town which meant that not much happened. The only thing that happened was the missing kids which everytime that breaking news went off on the television everyone knew... that a new kid has been missing.

Laurie sat herself on the couch with her milk Carton the one with Lisa's face on the back with the words "MISSING" and all the details about her.

"Breaking news another kid has been kidnapped tonight" the reporter said standing in what looked like the alley way to the grab n go.

Laurie sat up looking closely at the background. It looked very familiar to her. She was thinking and thinking before it came to her. Her and Jamie use to go through there to get to the drive in a couple months back before her and Vance Hopper got banned from going anywhere near that store because of all the mischief they got into and most of the people there were rich kids who didn't want to get blood on there collard shirts that they got with daddy's money.

Then there it was... "Robin Arellano..went missing about 3:50 Pm this evening" the reporter said as Laurie's eyes grew wider then ever. "Robin...Jamie... Jamie's brother" Laurie thought. Of course like everything single time a picture showed of him with all of his information.

"That address.. the same address Jamie's is" she thought. "He really is missing" she thought as the reporter finish as the tv went back to whatever Laurie was watching before.

Laurie then had some weird feeling in her stomach. The same type of feeling she had when she saw Lisa's missing poster on the television. Laurie layed down looking at the ceiling before not even realizing she'd fall asleep.

The next day had arrived and Laurie's mom was already at work. Laurie's mom is a nurse who delivers baby's which meant she rarely got to see her.

Laurie got up pouring herself a bowl of cereal sitting down on the couch before remember about Robin Arellano. "Shit... Jamie.." she thought as she continued to eat her cereal.

Time went by and Jamie never came to the door to pick up Laurie. Laurie thought maybe she had her uncle take her with everything going on so she took the car instead.

Laurie grabbed her bag walking out and to school. Several minutes had passed as she got to school. She walked into her class to see everyone whispering and looking at Laurie.

"What's going on?" Laurie said to one of her classmates. "You didn't here? Jamie had a whole tantrum talking about how she saw what happened to her brother and Bruce Yamada in her dreams" a student said laughing. "She got so mad she punched a kid in the nose so hard it got broken" another kid said.

Laurie had the look of fear in her eyes worried about Jamie. "What did she mean by dreams?" Laurie thought. Laurie turned her head to see finney looking down with a dried up bloody nose.

"You okay finney?" Laurie said nudging him. Finney quickly snapped out of his phase looking at Laurie "oh um yeah I'm...okay" finney said to Laurie. "What happened to you, you look terrible" Laurie said worried. "Oh Um bike accident" Finney said lying. Laurie started to laugh "you don't have a bike finney" She said continuing to laugh. "Oh um.. well.." finney was about to finished when the teacher interrupting as they started their day.

The hours of the day had passed as school ended. Laurie walked out of school as she heard someone shout her name from the distance. She turned her head to see the 5 girls from yesterday charging at her. Laurie quickly took off as the girls chased her.

They made it all the way to the park before one of the girls tackled her as they all started punching and kicking her before she heard running footsteps. "BAM" is what all Laurie heard before she saw one of the bully's were not there.

All of the sudden the girls stopped as there attention was all on the one and only... Jamie Arellano. "Come here bitch" Jamie said signaling them to try to fight her.

One of the girls through a punch as Jamie dodge it kicking her in the joint making her fall. She then roundhouse kicked one in the gut making them fall. "3 down 2 to go" Jamie said as she tackled one to the ground hitting there head.

The last one grabbed onto Jamie pulling her hair. The last bully was about to take a hit before Jamie grabbed onto there wrist twisting it making them scream in pain. Jamie then took her other hand grabbing the bully's hair and throwing her onto the ground.

Jamie got onto of her looking her into the eyes "what did I say about you fucking with my friend you fucking toothless freak!" She said punching her in the face over and over again.

Jamie kept going and going before Laurie had to get up holding her back. Laurie stared at the girls who were all laying on the ground in defeat as Jamie whipped the blood off on her shirt.

"You okay?" Jamie said panting "yeah.. are you okay?! I haven't seen you all day" Laurie said. "Yeah I'm fine don't worry about me let's just get you home" Jamie said getting Laurie up and walking her home.

They finally got to Laurie's house as they stopped at her doorstep "hey what were those kids talking about how you had a dream about robin and Bruce" Laurie said looking down at Jamie.

Jamie sighed as she looked up at Laurie "I see things... in my dreams... weird dreams" Jamie said. "What kind of dreams?" Laurie said confused. "Ever since Lisa went missing four months ago I've been seeing her in my dreams... it would be her walking home from Bruce's baseball game and there was a black v-" Jamie was about to complete her sentence before she heard Laurie's mom call her name.

"You should go.." Jamie said looking at Laurie. "Okay...well you should take some time off tomorrow with everything happening" Laurie said. "Okay.." Jamie said smiling and hugging Laurie as Laurie smiled waking in her house shutting the door.

Jamie left waking home not knowing what's about to happen next.
