Chapter 3: the next missing kid

It had been a week since Robin Arellano went missing. The grabber was still waiting for his next victim which he would find later that day.

Of course Laurie did her usual morning routine but left a little early since Jamie had took a day off from all that was happening. She walked down the side walk looking around and walking by a few missing posters.

Laurie was about five minutes away when a van pulled up. The man was a  bout to get out when she hears someone yell her name. The mysterious black van heard that and drove off quickly.

She looked to the voice and it was finney and his sister Gwen. "Finney? Gwen? What are you guys doing here?" Laurie said confused. "Going to school duh" Gwen said. "Well yeah I know that but I thought your house is on the other side" Laurie said while walking with the others.

"Yeah well we felt bad for you especially Jamie with everything going on.." Finney said looking down. "Oh yeah.. I'm sorry about robin.. I know you guys were pretty close.." Laurie said looking at finney. "It's okay" finney said putting on a fake smile as they got to school.

they would walk up as Laurie looked to her side to see five bullys. she quickly looked down "whats the matter Laurie? dont have your girlfriend to protect you?" a bully said as laurie quickly got into her class. 

she sat down as finney sat next to her. they both got there notebooks out as class began. the teacher talked about what he usually talks about. time passed  by and classes passed by and it was finally time to go home.  

Laurie, Finney, and Gwen were walking down the sidewalk when gwen started to talk "well i should go" gwen said starting to walk away. "wait where you going?" laurie asked stopping. "oh gwen always goes to her friends house susies every friday but ill walk you home." finney said looking at laurie. "oh okay, by gwen" laurie said waving at gwen. "bye!' gwen said walk the other way as laurie and finney Continued to walk. 

they were about 5 minutes away when they noticed a van in the middle of the road. a man wit pail white skin, a big black hat, a red shirt with a black vest, some black belck bottems, a cape, and some big orange/yellow sunglasses that covered his eyes walked out of the van dropping his "groceries". laurie and finney stared at the man as he started to laugh "well isnt that just peachy keen" the man said picking up a cracked egg while its yoke spilt out. "would one of you hand me my hat?" the man said smiling at the two. "um sure" laurie said bending down and handing him his hat. "yes ma'am" the man said getting up and brushing himself off. "i.. am a part time magician" hed say smiling as the two kids smiled back "wanna see a magic trick?" the man said offering. "sure!" finney said exicted. while the man was setting up his "magic trick" Laurie noticed a bunch of black balloons. her faced dropped as she slowly backed up as finney noticed looking at them aswell. 

"wait...are those black balloons?" finney said as the man grabbed the balloons using them to trap finney as laurie watched as she quickly sprented away. the man quickly noticed driving after her full speed. "HELP!!" laurie said as the man stopped his van right in front of her. Laurie ran right into the van hitting her head. her quickly noticed her bloody nose as she tried crawling away before the man grabbed ahold of her hair drugging her with some bottle before gently picking her up and throwing her into the back of the van with finney who was also passes out.
