[Boscha & Willow's Dormitory]
Boscha and Willow were both silent as a mouse as they watched TV, Willow had just sterilize and bandaged all of Boscha's wounds. They had a bit of an awkward moment at the end but it wasn't the reason they weren't talking and were just sitting silently pretending to actually be interested in the news.
It's also not because they didn't know anything about each other. In fact, they probably knew more than they knew about themselves and it's because of the same exact reason they were quiet. They've hated each other, ridiculed, fought, and taunted each other for 10 years. Boscha first started bullying Willow when they were seven but it wasn't really bullying it was more like some cheesy Tom and Jerry gag but when they hit high school everything changed, playing rough with each other turned into yelling at each other, fighting with each other, despising each other etc...but yet, here they were, sitting together, silently, watching tv.
Willow cleared her throat making Boscha glance at her, "So, you never told me why you looked like you were on the brink of life." Willow said turning to look at Boscha, "Oh, It doesn't really matter." Boscha said touching the bandages on her hands. "It does matter." Willow said with a serious tone, "I mean you had blood and wounds all over you." She continued.
"I didn't want to join the basketball team and they got mad, that's it." said Boscha calmly as if it was a normal common situation, "That's it? That isn't a good reason to fight someone, well, there is no good reason but you get the point." Willow said with an upset facial expression and tone, "See this is why I told you what I told you when we first got here about this place being a thunderdome." Boscha said.
Willow sighed looking as if she was making the universes toughest decision, "Hey, when we start school again you can hang out with me and my friends." Willow exhaled before saying. "But, what if we don't have the same classes?" Boscha asked. "Hm, let me see your schedule." Boscha reached for her schedule after Willow said that but quickly stopped when she felt a sharp pain in her stomach which caused her to grit her teeth. "What's wrong?" Willow asked noticing Boscha looked as if she was in pain and was grabbing her waist, "Uh...I'll be right back." Boscha said gritting her teeth before standing up and walking to the bathroom and shutting the door.
She turned on the faucet to mute any noises she might make. She lifted her shirt up to reveal a huge bruise, "Fuuuck." Boscha gently brushed her fingers on the bruise accidently inflicting a sharp pain on herself, "There is no way I can tell Willow about this." She said to herself pulling her shirt down then looking around for something that can help.
"Hey, you good?" Willow asked after gently knocking on the bathroom door to check on Boscha, "Uh...yeah." Boscha quickly turned the knob of the faucet and opening the door to see Willow, "Sorry, I was...washing up." Boscha said hoping Willow would move out of the way, "Also thanks for the whole me hanging around with you and your friends thing." Boscha said in regard to Willow's invitation to hang out with her and her friends, Willow laughed, "What?.." Boscha asked confused as to why Willow was laughing, "I'd never in a million years think I'd hear you thank someone let alone me." Willow said answering Boscha. "Here I thought we were getting along and then she throws an insult like that."
[Boscha's POV]
"Wow, how nice of you to say." I said sarcastically, "Oh, I didn't mean to offend you, sorry." Willow said moving out of the way to let me go back to the living room, Willow followed behind me, "So, you hungry?" she asked.
"No-" It was if on cue, my stomach growled. I grew a flustered expression and sat back down putting the makeshift ice-pack on my eye. "I'll go check in with the school and see what we can get, we don't have anything in the fridge." Willow said leaving the dorm.
I covered my mouth with my hand, "God what the fuck is happening...I mean what is going on between us." I thought to myself, "We didn't even apologize to each other after years of hating each other and now somehow we're cool with each other?!"
"Should I apologize to her for bullying her and her friends, why did I bully them, does it even matter?!" I thought to myself confused, "She acts like we're friends and everything is ok and that its the present that matter not the past and..." I continued. "I like it."
[Narrator]
At this point Boscha was fuming, but not out of anger, out of fluster and happiness for some reason. Boscha didn't know why but strange feelings and thoughts arose in her. She wanted to talk to her, protect her, and she wanted to be close to her. "God, when is she coming back." Even though Willow had just been gone for not even a few minutes but second if felt like forever. She lowered the ice pack down and caressed it, "She acts like she cares about me but how do I know she actually cares for me, what if it's just because she's a good person, I want to know she cares for me specifically."
Boscha sighed and put the ice-pack on the couch, she stood up and left the dorm, she sat on the front steps of the dorm waiting for Willow like some sort of dog. She waited...and waited for more than ten minutes, she grew more tired and bored and began to rest her eyes and before she knew it she was asleep.
[Time Skip]
Boscha was knocked out sleeping with her head resting on her knees. She felt a soft touch on her shoulder but it didn't wake her up. "Hey, you okay? Sorry I took so long." Boscha's ears perked up, she recognized that voice and it made her quickly wake up, "What'd you say?" Boscha asked hoping to hear Willow more clearly, "I was asking if you were okay and I said sorry for taking so long, why are you out here?" Willow repeated her self, "She talks so sweet but does she actually care about me or is it all just talk." Boscha said asking herself the same question she did earlier, "Oh, I needed fresh air." Boscha said laughing nervously at the end patting the dirt off her pants, "You okay?" Willow asked again but this time it was regarding Boscha's strange behavior, "Of course, why wouldn't I be?!" Boscha responded frantically before looking down to see Willow holding two large heavy looking bags, "Here let me help," Boscha gently grazed Willow's hand as she grabbed the two bags making her laugh nervously, "So, what's in these bags, groceries?" She asked as she opened the door whilst holding the two bags, "Uh, yeah." She set the bags onto the kitchen counter.
"So what do you wanna eat, I can cook something up." Willow said changing the subject.
