Before going home that night, you were asked to assist Koneko with a summons. This also served to help you learn the ropes on the job since you had not domes so up to this point.

The location was a few blocks away from the academy proper. And the summoner? Well knocking on the door lead to a bit of a shock.

The door to the home opened up to reveal a little girl. Brown hair, brown eyes. Looked to be of preteen years. Your eyebrows rose and you glanced to Koneko. She did not show any hint of something wrong.

"Are you the devils I sent for?" She asked in a high pitched voice.

"Yep." Koneko answered.

The girl frowned. "You don't look like devils."

You held a hand up and showed the Gremory seal. Using wings on the doorstep out in the open had too much of a risk of being seen. And that gesture was enough for her to nod and motioned for the three of you to come inside.

The girl motioned for you to take a seat in a modest living room.

"So what is it you want?" You asked, uncertain of what this child wanted, or how she even got ahold of the means to do so.

"My brother." Her expression saddened. "He's been missing since yesterday."

You winced at the problem being presented to you. Of all the things you had to start with for a summons, it had to be a very important one like that. But first, the obvious question needed to be asked.

"Why haven't you or your family contacted the police?"

"They're not fast enough, and my parents are still at the station. One night he was in his room. The next morning he wasn't, with no trace at all. All they did was ask questions and chase leads."

"You think it was supernatural?"

"Yeah." She nodded. "He delved into Satanic stuff, but he said the ones he's met were nice. So-"

"Someone didn't take well to making friends with 'unholy' beings." You finished.

"So I went through his stuff and used the first seal I could find." She elaborated.

"This sounds like another house's problem." Koneko pointed out.

"It stopped being that way when she called us." You countered. "Plus it's a person in trouble. I'm in."

"Chill, I'm in too." Koneko replied. Enty nodded.

"Really?" The girl's eyes shined. "Thank you!"

'(F/n), we could use structural analysis. His room might have traces of evidence of his disappearance.' Archer interjected.

'So we can catch a scent.' You concluded.

"We need to see his room." You told the girl. She nodded and led you to the brother's room upstairs. Sure enough, the boys room was filled with Satanic and metal decor throughout the place.

"No hint of a struggle." You nodded to what Koneko said before stating your intent.

"I don't need a physical hint." You said, planting a hand on one of the walls and closing your eyes. "Trace......On."

A series of neon green lines expanded from your hand. The lines slowly expanded throughout the room. When the lines reached the foot of the bed in the corner, something flared up.

"I got something." Your eyes snapping open. "It's a trace of magic."

'It's a teleportation object. What's left of one.' Archer identified it while the details kept coming in.
