That day, because you were out for more or less an entire day that which was your weekend, you had to endure the envious stares of every student as you walked with the two most popular girls in the school. Then when you returned to class, you had to be interrogated. The best defense for something you yourself can't explain? Name, grade, ID number. Name, grade, ID number. But what was more surprising was an apparent case of amnesia in the school.
"You seriously don't remember Yuma?" You heard Issei as you ascended the stairs.
"Don't know what to tell you, dude." Motohoma said to him. "Doesn't ring a bell." Then Issei saw you coming up.
"Yo (F/n), don't you remember Yuma?" He asked of you. The honest part of you took over before thinking it through.
"Yeah. Why?" You replied.
"Wait, you sayin' we got amnesia?" Motohoma accuses you with a pointed finger. "That we can't remember a hot pair of jugs that Issei was giving it to?!"
"I don't know. I remember Yuma, and Issei does while you apparently don't. You tell me." You deadpanned. The results of bouncing it back to the pervs was nothing short of amusing.
"No! It can't be!" Mutsura panicked. "I thought all those claims that happy time was bad for your health was just a myth! Noooooooo!"
As the pair began to panic, Issei moved closer to avoid eavesdropping.
"Wait, you seriously believe me?" He seemed elated at the prospect.
"Obviously. My eyes don't lie." You snipped back at him.
And about then, movement down the staircase caught your eye. It was Rias, the supposed Devil, and Akeno as well. The redhead shot a sidelong smirk, along with her friend, except there was a wink in her case.
"Hey, you never got around to why you were hanging out with them." Issei pointed out.
"Well it probably has something to do with the fact that I myself don't know." You replied. "It's confusing to me too. The better question is why you and I remember Yuma, but your pals don't."
"You really think it has to do with our.... habits?" Issei asked, looking worried.
"If that were true, you'd be sharing a nursing home." You quipped.
"Hey!"
"Look, let's talk about this later. We got to get to class." With that, you left Issei's friends to an illusion despair.
Timeskip
And for the next day, now it was Issei accompanying Rias to school. This time, you sought him out once he was sufficiently isolated from the prying ears of his fellow delinquents.
"Yo." You greeted him in the hallway. Issei looked to you eagerly.
"So, did I just get the same treatment you did?" His first question held an obvious answer.
"Yep."
"Did you happen to wake up with Rias in your bed, nude?"
"Well she was in the house, but it was Akeno, actually."
"Did they say something about being a Devil? And how she's your master?"
"Yes."
"And did you also get stabbed by a giant pair of jugs with wings?"
You scowled, punching his shoulder.
"Ow!"
"If you mean a scantily clad thing that looked human but had black feathered wings that threw a spear, then yes."
