He woke up from Jisung tossing around restlessly next to him and murmuring anxiously.

"Ji", he gently rubbed over his arm to wake up the black-haired. "Ji, wake up. It's just a dream!"

But instead of opening his eyes, he cramped and tears ran down his face.

Felix sat up worried and shook him gently. "Ji wake up damn!"

Fingernails drilled into his arm, but Felix couldn't care less. Concerned, he noticed that Jisung bit his lower lip almost convulsively.

Felix spontaneously came up with two ways to wake him up. To beat him, but since he seemed to be afraid anyway, Felix decided against it and chose the second option.

Almost desperately, he pulled Jisung up and pressed his lips onto Jisung's.

Seconds later, he broke away from him and brushed his hair out of his face. "Please Ji, wake up!" he whispered and kissed him again.

And finally Jisung opened his eyes. Confused, he looked at Felix, who attracted him with relief.

"Finally you are awake. Thank God," he murmured.

"Uhm Lix, did you just kiss me?" Jisung asked confused and immediately blushed at the moment.

"I have. The alternative would have been to give you a slap in the face. But since you already had a nightmare, I wasn't quite sure if that would help at all. I'm sorry"

Relieved, Felix took a deep breath and loosened his grip so that Jisung could get up.

"It's okay. I'll be... oh no matter. Thank you for awakening me...", although Felix had loosened his grip so that Jisung had room for himself, he hugged Felix more closely again. "I dreamed of my father..." he whispered quietly and put his head on Felix's shoulder.

He gently kissed him on the temple.

"Luckily you're with me now... nothing will happen to you here, Ji! And I won't let anyone ever beat you again!"

Jisung smiled crookedly, but didn't answer. He was still too trapped in his dream. And maybe also in the fact that Felix kissed him.

He wasn't sure what that meant. His heart beat damn fast, but this could also be due to the nightmare.

Tired, he closed his eyes. The day had been incredibly exhausting. A terrible up and down of feelings.

"Ji, do we want to eat something? I could make us ramen quickly."

The black-haired nodded and Felix gently detached himself from him. But instead of staying in the living room, he went into the kitchen right after Felix. He really didn't want to be alone right now.

While Felix made the food, he let Haneul out into the garden. The blonde already suspected that they wouldn't go anywhere today.

After dinner, the two sat in the dining room for a while.

"Tell me about him. Your best friend. If you like."

"Where should I start? Innie, I mean  Jeongin is a year younger than me, but he was always there for me. He even knew without me having to tell him that it had been bad with my father again. I mean his parents were also terrible to him. But at least they didn't beat him. And I was allowed to sleep at his place when his father wasn't there."

Jisung took a deep breath and remained silent.

"Sounds like a damn great best friend," Felix said with a smile.

"He really was..." whispered Jisung.

"Do we want to go to bed?" Felix finally asked. "I mean it's not really late yet, but I think it would be good for both of us if we could rest a little."

Jisung nodded and so they both got up. After bringing their dishes into the kitchen, they went upstairs and cuddled up to bed.

"Ji, I definitely have to work tomorrow..." Felix said thoughtfully, while gently stroke the other's back. "What do you think, should I call Chan and ask if he has time tomorrow? I then would drive you to him before I go to work."

"Definitely! I mean with Haneul I feel safe here, but I think I'd rather have some company then being alone."

Felix picked up his phone and called his best friend.

"Hey Channie, would you have time for Jisung tomorrow? I would bring him over before I go to work if that suits you."

"Hay Lix, of course. Bin would be late tomorrow anyway, he has to do something with his family. Then I can show Jisung the studio in peace."

"Great, thank you Channie. See you tomorrow."

"See you two tomorrow."

Felix let himself sink back into bed and pulled Jisung back into his arms.

"Thank you Lix," Jisung whispered quietly and nervously pressed around Felix Arm with his fingers.

Felix held his hand with a smile.

"Ji, you don't have to say thank you and you don't have to feel bad either! I am happy to be there for you and if I can help you, then I will do so!"

"Because I really like you, even if I can't explain it to myself...!" he added in his mind.

"I just have the feeling that you are doing more for me than I would have deserved..." Jisung murmured.

"I think you have no idea what you deserve and what you don't," Felix replied with a smile.

A little calmed, Jisung closed his eyes and cuddled closer to Felix. He had actually always been a little more affectionate and liked physical contact very much, but it has never been so important for him to cuddle with anyone.

He was terribly afraid that Felix would change his mind at some point and kick him out, but until then he had decided to simply enjoy his closeness.

Since his mother died, he had experienced little love. His father hated him and blamed him for the accident. And his classmates had thought he was strange and always scared and jumpy. Since Jisung had not told anyone that his father was beating him, no one knew about the bruises.

Jeongin had been the first to look behind Jisung's facade and who had really made an effort to get to him. And so the two had become best friends.

The thoughts of his best friend again brought tears to his eyes. Actually, he didn't want to cry anymore. It didn't help anyway but yet he couldn't stop the tears.

He missed his best friend and was terribly afraid to never see him again.

"Everything will be fine Ji! We will find him!" Felix seemed to have guessed his thoughts and gently wiped the tears off his face. "Try to sleep Ji. Tomorrow the world may look different. And you don't have to sit at home, but can work with Chan."

"Hmm..." Jisung muttered uncertainly. "I don't even know if I can still do that at all. The last time I wrote a song lyrics was years ago..."

"Maybe the inspiration comes when you start to work on it again. And if not, then we'll find something else that you'll enjoy!"

"Hmm" the black haired muttered sleepy.

With a smile, Felix brushed his hair out of his face. "Sleep well Ji"
