~BlockBuster Video: Billy and Stu~

BlockBuster Video, home of every movie ever released on VHS. It was your happy place, so it was no wonder that it was your first choice for a job. They had hired you on the same day as your interview, and you started working the next day. After a week or so, you finally got the hang of your new job. You became fast friends with fellow film enthusiast, Randy Meeks.

One afternoon while you were stocking shelves, you noticed two guys come in and enter your isle. Not being familiar with them, you continued doing your job making sure to not disturb them. You made glances at them as you filled a shelf with various horror films. "Hey do you think you could point me in the direction of Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2? " The tall blonde boy in the duo asked as he placed his elbow on the shelf. His shorter friend looming behind, still sorting through the shelves. "Oh, it's on the other side' you replied 'We keep our films alphabetized, or try to at least." You giggled, picking up a children's film that somehow ended up in the horror isle.

You led the boy to the opposite side of the shelf, picking up his film and handing it to him. His friend started at you as you did so. "Ah thanks' responded the boy as he took the film from your hands 'any suggestions for other movies?" He asked.

His friend across the shelf cleared his throat, "Stu if you keep flirting we're not going to have enough time to set up for the party." A small blush crept upon your face

No way he was flirting with me, you thought to yourself

"I'm not flirting, you dick" Stu said

The friend put his hands up in defense, walking towards you with a smirk. "I'm Billy by the way, Billy Loomis" he put his hand out for you to shake. You took it in hesitation, keeping eye contact while shaking hands. "Can you two stop eye fucking?" Stu questioned with his arms crossed, leaning on one of the shelves.

You started puzzled at the boy called Stu, unclamping your hand from Billy's. Billy seemed to glad at him, as if it were some kind of a warning. Stu shrugged, checking the rest of the isle for more movies. "I suggest The Fly and Eraserhead, by the way" you look back a Billy, but say it just loud enough so Stu could hear.

Looking behind Billy you see Stu nod at your suggestion, picking up the films and making his way back to you and Billy.

"I can ring you guys up if your finished, maybe I'll even throw in a discount" you said with a smile, waking over to the counter. "Yeah? Why would you do that?" Billy asked as he snatched the movies from Stu and handed them to you. I scan the films as you begin to speak "I like you guys and your taste so, why not?" You questioned with a smirk. Stu threw a bag of candy on the counter as you were scanning, earning another glare from Billy.

You added the discount and rang the boys up, putting your telephone number at the bottom of the receipt. Stu grabbed it before she could put it in the bag, reading it with a devilish grin. "You gave us your number!" He practically shouted as Billy grabbed the bag from you.

Billy did a double take at you, then to the number, then back at you, smiling. He pushed Stu to the door, signaling their departure. "Bye boys, and remember to be kind and rewind!" you shouted as they left the store. Earning strange looks from the other customers. You didn't care, because you might actually have some friends now.
