Enri: Lord Morpheus' Child

Chapter 1: Imprisonment

-The Waking World, June 10th, 2022; Drake Mansion-

In the busyness of Trenten, New Jersey's capital city life, a 'wizard' by the name of Noctis Drake and his followers meet up at a beautiful estate. They gather in the home's basement, circling around a binding circle chanting an incantation that would capture and imprison Dream of the Endless. Though, they were not aware of the changes that Dream had made to the incantation of which would allow them to imprison him.

The wizard stood before them at the head of the binding circle next to a pedestal placing the ritual book on the stand.

"My fellow members, were gathered here today to repeat a feat that occurred exactly one hundred and six years ago." The wizard said. "The feat was none other than successfully summoning and imprisoning an Endless being. One by the name of Dream." He continued. "We are gathered here today, to attempt to replicate the success. By summoning Dream of the Endless again, well be able to strike a bargain with him in order to get what we so desirea world that is filled with peace and love one without walls between the waking and the dreaming worlds."He finished speaking and started the chant, his followers soon followed suit as he performed the ritual.

-Northside, Ohio-

Enri hurried along a crowded street, making zir way home from pulling a double at a local restaurant. Ze had to hurry in order to get to bar for zir drag routine as a faux King and Queen. Though along the way to the bar, Ze felt pain in the center of zir being, being pulled ever which way. Ze were able to hear some sort of ritual chanting going on. Then ze were falling, unconscious, Ze last felt like ze were being torn apart and reconstructed upon landing somewhere else...

Enri woke up in a world so magnificently beautiful. Ze was standing outside a horn and ivory gates. Ze knocked, the gates of ivory opened up and Ze found a castle in distance. Enri was captivated by its beauty as well as the beauty of the land. The Dream folk that lived in the land had to do a double take on the newcomer, to make sure that the person wasnt in fact Lord Morpheus and was only just a dreamer from the Waking World. Rumors of the visitor flared up like wildfire as ze heard whispers of zir appearance looking like their Lordship as ze continued forward towards the castle.

-Trenten, NJ Drake Mansion-

The room grew dark, the lights silently burnt out and there was a draft of wind that overcame the whole room. Smoke accumulated within the center of the circle as a being appeared before them. Though to their untrained eye, they had succeeded. The wizard carefully took a step closer, being cautious about the binding circle as the lights came back on. This being before them was not who they were expecting nor had wanted. Noctis Drake started to relieve the being of it's belongings and clothes. Although it was strikingly similar to Dream, there were subtle details letting the occult leader know that they had gotten the wrong Endless Being. Not wanting to alarm the others of the mistake, he stood up and looked at them all who are now huddled at the bottom of the circle.

"The ritual was a success."The wizard stated, enthusiastically, to his followers. "We shall let our guess regain his strength before we tell him our demands." The wizard said as he ushered them out of the room, so that the being could have some privacy alone.

Once they had all gone away, the wizard came back into in the basement where the being is. He got close to the glass and examined the being more closely. He realized that the being was more human then he thought it was.

"It ended up being a failure after allbut then why did the spell summon you, if youre not an Endless being." The wizard inquired mainly to himself, puzzled, and baffled at what had just transpired.

-The Dreaming-

Dream was down by the shore and was busy creating new dreams and nightmares. Lucienne had come down from the castle to check up on him.
