Burpy could feel a familiar energy within the one called Emily. While Eli's was more calm, but contained for some reason. Emily had a more wild aura flaring around her, which was almost transparently visible to any one if they would take a closer look.
The three girls and the slugs found Bon's Juice Bar and decided to make a pit stop to refuel themselves a bit. They all could see that there was some people that look ruthless and ready to slug it out at any micro-second.
"Una mesa para tres personas, por favor." Emily requested to the bar tender. If Burpy had to guess about what she said, it was about the three of them getting a table, since they sat down at an empty table that was a bit far from other people that were there as well.
They only ordered water and custom milkshakes as if they were saving the meals in their storage for a later time. They held onto their drink since the table was being using to lay down a map Lupe brought out from her sack that Burpy peeked to see vials of different colored liquids and balls.
"It sounds like they took their slinger to the opposite of the jungle caverns." Emily explained looking at the small area of the map where Mo stood. "That means they would cross to Tusker Forks Cavern, but that would also mean they would have to camp there for the night. Tazerlings would help ward off any Slug Hounds that may attack the Hunters, but other than that, it'll be just a one night stand before they head off."
"Hang on, doesn't Tusker Forks Cavern connect to this known fork in the trail?" Lupe interjected. Her hand traced the marked path "That fork leads to two tyrant ruled caverns no matter which you pick. And one of them is..."
Before she could finish, Burpy could see that her wolf ears straightened up as she was hearing something in alert. The group looked to see a group of slingers pointing their blasters at them. Burpy and Doc instantly recognize the group instantly, Billy and the Hooligang. At first they were employed by Blakk, but now they just cause trouble for the thrill of being irritating.
"You may need to come with us," Billy demanded, pointing his blaster fiercly at Emily "We got questions for you."
"What if we say no?" Emily asked. This was met with Billy's blaster getting way too close to her face. She placed her hand on it to move it away, as a way to respect her boundaries.
"That's not an accurate answer, sweetheart."
Burpy didn't know if he should hide under the table or in one of the girl's tubes. He could sense a high level of anger within Emily as if Billy made her snap. The back-up evidence was Lupe and Willow's startled and concerned looks directly at Emily, who looked stone cold solemn. All she did was stand up in order to look directly at Billy's eyes.
"Say it again. I dare you." Emily said in a threatening voice. Billy didn't look frightened. More like in awe that she didn't bat her eyelashes in a flirty way.
"What? You mean calling you sweetheart? I just think you look pretty..."
But before he could say anything, somehow out of the blue, Emily kicked him in the unmentionables.
There was fits of laughter coming around from the other people inside the bars, which made Billy even more upset. Shorty slugged one of them using a Armashelt while Glasses electrocuted another with a Tazerling. Soon, everyone was slugging each other, except for the three girls. They grabbed Burpy and his friends and ran out of the bar, though they did pay for the drinks they took with them.
Emily, Lupe, and Willow watched the commotion based on the sound coming from the bar. They were all quiet and shocked at what happened, especially with Emily's reaction with Billy. Lupe was the one that broke the silence.
"Wow, we were only in there for like 6 to 8 minutes and we started a huge bar fight."
"This never happens in La Gala," Emily responded. She cradled Doc in her palms who seemed to agree by nodding his head "Because they're usually taken outside." Ok, that was a big statement to make.
"We should probably take the trail to Tusker Forks right now" Willow insisted. The other two girls quietly agreed as they headed out once more towards their designated Cavern.
Burpy could have sworn that there was a luminance hue of blue glowing and dancing in Emily's eyes. Almost like Eli's when he had those recent headaches.
"How are your eyes like a mirror?" Joules asked.
It's a little secret Emily said. Only the weird part was that she didn't move her mouth at all. Her voice somehow gotten into their minds.
Now the Infurnus just has many more questions to give for the new friend.
