A young child was held by the collar by his parents, as the mercilessly taunted the boy for being weak and emotionally hurt. Said child just wailed and screamed for help from others. His cry was ignored. His parents dragged him towards
But someone was watching the scene quite concerned for the young boy. His concern quickly became anger as the parents threw the boy into the water next to the docks.
They boy screamed and cried for help his parents just mocking his cries. Then he noticed something. He was sinking. His flailing wasn't helping and he couldn't breathe. He looked up at the dimming sun.
Suddenly he saw a figure swimming down towards him. They grabbed his shirt and slowly ascended up towards the surface.
As the child felt the precious air, something rose up his throat and he threw up whatever water had entered his body.
He heard his saviors voice. "Hey kid are you alright?" He looked up to the man. He had black hair like caviar, his skin was pretty dark but tan tattoos decorating his skin. He wasn't wearing a shirt but he wore a coat but it was on the dock. "I.... I-" The boy couldn't reply instead he shivered from almost drowning. "I'm O-ok..." he muttered. "What's you name kid. I'm Captain Caviar." He spoke calmly. "M/n..." Y/n replied shivering again but not from fear but the cold.
Caviar covered the poor boy with his coat.
He felt the warmth from the coat. He snuggled into the coat. "Where is mom and dad?" Y/n asked. Captain Caviar tensed and his words. "They left ya kid." He spoke bluntly.
Y/n teared up at those words. He knew it'd happen but it still hurt him. "Forget 'em." Caviar ordered. "You can come with me and we'll treat ya better." He said. Y/n looked at him. He nodded, cause, where else could he go?
The captain gave Y/n a shark toothed grin that seemed to cheer the little boy up.
Captain stood up and handed his hand to Y/n, Y/n quickly forgot about his fear for water and his parents and grabbed his new gaurdians hand.
He stood up to quickly go and follow his gaurdians footsteps.
