"Eugene!" Zahra came through to the kitchen with the brightest smile. "Look!" She set down the pregnancy text down in front of him, Eugene looked up from his phone and stared down at the pregnancy text. "We're pregnant Eugene! Isn't this great?" She sat down in the chair and looked at him. "Zahra..you got to get rid of it." He spoke in a quiet voice before looking up at her. "W-what?" Her smile immediately dropped as she stared at him. "Eugene, you got to be kidding..right?" She spoke quietly as she knew her voice would break. "I'm not Zahra, we can't raise a baby." He shook his head before he placed his head in his palm. "I'll get you an appointment, we're not having a baby Zahra." He spoke sternly as he looked down. "God what were you thinking.." he muttered. "..b-but I thought you wanted a baby?" She whispered as she looked down, hiding her face as she started to cry. "Later Zahra, you're still in medical school, and I can't support you and the baby, it would be to much." He sighed. "We're too young Zahra, are you really gonna throw away your life for some kid?" He gave her a look. "I don't think it is the right time." He muttered. "...im keeping them." She whispered as she looked up at him with tears. "Cause I'm not going to any doctor to get rid of my baby." She stood up. "Zahra, cmon, be rational." "I am Eugene." She gave him a glare. "Consider this relationship over Eugene, I'm getting my things." She started to walk away. "Zahra." Eugene sighed before going after her. "And go where? To your parents? Who may I remind you that hate you? For being with me?" He grabbed her arm, but she didn't look at him. "You have nowhere to go, so you might as well stay and get rid of that baby." He tried to pull her towards him, but she pulled her arm away from him. "I will find me somewhere, even if I have to stay with someone who I don't even know." She spoke coldly to him before heading towards their room. "Ugh." Eugene groaned before watching her pack a suitcase. "You're gonna regret this Zahra, so do expect me to let you come running back." He watched as she walked by him with her bag. "I wont be Eugene." She looked at him. "And I promise you that." She spoke softly before heading out the door. "...she'll be back, I know it." He spoke to himself with a smile.

Seventeen years later

"I think this is the place." Eugene spoke to himself as he looked up at the house in front of him. "..lets hope she's actually here." He thought to himself as he walked up. "..here goes nothing." He whispered as he rang the doorbell. "Coming!" A sweet voice came through, through the music that was coming from inside. "Don't beat up your brother to much cindy!" You could hear laughter before the door opened. "Hello-" Zahra opened the door, her smile faded as she saw Eugene. "..Eugene." She spoke softly. "Zahra.." he whispered before he tried to hug her, making her step back. "..what are you doing here?" She whispered. He stepped back, thinking about how they last saw each other. "I came for you Zara, I felt bad, and I wanted to make things right." He gave her a small smile. "I've missed you so much." He spoke softly. "..you shouldn't be here." She looked down. "But Zahra-" Eugene was cut off as a male came up behind her, much taller then her. "Is there something you need?" The dark headed boy asked. "..oh." Eugene muttered. "I see you moved on Zahra.." the guy raised a brow. "I'm guessing he doesn't know ma?" He leaned down and whispered. "He doesn't baby." Zahra gave a small smile to the boy. "Ma?-" Eugene asked before looking between him. "..is that?" Zahra immediately shook her head. "No, this is sam, my other son." She spoke softly. "Mais-" "is that Julian at the door?" Another voice came from behind them. "I swear if you're bullying him again sam." A boy popped his head out besides Sam, he had blonde hair, blue eyes, and purple flowers across his shoulders. "..who's this?" The boy asked. "..." Eugene looked him up and down, noticing how much the boy had some of his features and Zahra's.
"Is this?" Eugene looked at Zahra. "..yes, Eugene." She looked down as she spoke. "Eugene??" Sam spoke, looking Eugene up and down. "Sam." Zahra looked up at him with a smile, he looked down at her with a concerned look. "Go check the food." She spoke softly before looking between them. "..." he sighed before shaking his head. "Yes ma." He whispered before walking back to the kitchen. The boy looked between Eugene and Zahra before stepping more into the doorway. "..you Eugene?" The male asked. "..yeah, and im guessing you're?" Eugene tilted his head. "..maisley." he didn't give him a smile, just a look. "..look, maisley, Zahra. I know I left you guys, but I came to make things better-" maisley cut him off. "After seventeen years Eugene? I'm practically almost an adult. And now you wanna be apart of our lives?" Maisley crossed his arms. "Yeah, sure. But it's up to ma here." Maisley gave him a glare. Eugene gave him a look as he was being disrespectful towards him. "Did you seriously raise him like this Zahra, to be disrespectful?" Eugene gave her a look. "To think, he got that from you." He scoffed. "Actually." A woman's voice came from behind him. He looked behind him to see a woman with white hair, and sort of a dressy outfit on. two younger looking people on each side of her. A male with multiple different colors in his hair, and a choker on. And a girl with black hair and a beanie. "He got that from me." She pulled her sunglasses on to look at Eugene. "Baby what did I tell you about opening the door to exes? They're only trouble." The woman smiled at Zahra. Zahra softly chuckled as she leaned against the door frame. "Julian!" Maisley walked past Eugene to hug the tall boy. "Hey baby!" Julian smiled down at maisley before wrapping his arms around his waist. "I missed you today." Julian softly chuckled as he nuzzled into maisley. "I missed you too." Maisley whispered. Eugene gave them a look as he watched the two. "Sam is inside checking on the food Jane, probably with Cindy and Ollie." The girl with black hair smiled at Zahra. "Thank you Mrs. Graves!" Jane walked past Eugene as well and walked inside. "..Mrs graves?" Eugene thought before he glanced back at maisley who was snuggling up in Julian's chest. "You let him be with a..dude?" Eugene looked at Zahra with a look. "That's unacceptable Zahra! I wouldn't let him do that-" Eugene was cut off by the white hair woman. "And why not?" She spoke as she walked past him. "It wouldn't be fair if we told him he couldn't be with a guy." She wrapped her arm around Zahra's waist and pulled her to her side. "Isn't that right, my love?" The woman looked down at Zahra with a smile. "Of course it would be hunny." Zahra smiled up at her before the woman kissed her nose. "..." Eugene looked at them with eyes. "You're-" Eugene turned towards maisley and Julian, both if them giving him a look. Then he turned back to Zahra and the woman. "You're all sick." He glared. "..get over it Eugene." Zahra spoke with a glare. "I'm happy with Carmen, and maisley is happy with Julian." She spoke with a stern voice. "We didn't need you seventeen years ago, we don't need you now." She hugged Carmen's waist. "Cmon boys, dinner is almost done." Zahra gave them a smile before walking inside the house. Maisley and Julian walked past, but not before Julian gave Eugene a look. "..." as the door shut, Eugene just stood there, a mixture of emotions going through him, before turning to leave, not planning to come back, and that family honestly doesn't want him to come back.
