Days have passed since that chaotic night when Namjoon and your brother, Sunho, met at an unexpected time. Both of you haven't been able to reconcile since then, making the situation even more tense.

Since then, Sunho hasn't returned any of your calls or messages and when you ask Sooya, she'd have no problem taking his calls or messages. Despite your efforts to make things right, Sunho still remains distant and silent, leaving you feeling completely helpless. You were a bit salty because an argument like this had never lasted for more than a day without one of you talking it out.

Nonetheless, you're still grateful he made it back to his dorm in one piece without adding any more worries. Not like he cares about how you're feeling. Had he, he would've never disrespected you that night in front of the man you were willing to introduce to your family when the time came.

Both you and Namjoon have even discussed it a few times. This is because he 'tried' to soothe your feelings about whether you should be the one to lower your pride as a big sister. What can you do? You're petty as hell and Namjoon only confirmed how stubborn you actually are. He even offered to come with you to make amends and maybe help reduce your brother's dislike of him, but you told him it might make matters worse.

In the end, you both decided to give Sunho some time to clear his head and hope he will hear you out.

Monday noon found you returning to the familiar lobby where you used to spend time tending to your boss, and now boyfriend, Namjoon. You were there to fulfill the promise you had made to him the night before.

It was one of those days where you couldn't resist him, especially when he FaceTimmed you shirtless and with hair damp from a workout. He asked if you could spend lunch in his office before you started your first day at the firm downtown. You hadn't seen him this morning as he couldn't stay over last night because he had gone home late as usual.

Instead, you decided to wake up extra early to do some grocery shopping for ingredients to cook his favorite meals.

To say it did feel a bit fulfilling being able to spend your days like this is an understatement. Even more when you enter his office just as he finishes a meeting with one of his investors you've never seen in your life, his bored expression turning into a full-on grin.

All eyes are on you as your grip on the packed lunch tightens. You straighten out your posture, standing comfortably in one of your flats, mom jeans, and a fitted long-sleeve that shows off your curves generously.

Must be the first, you think as Namjoon lifts his gaze from the blonde woman sitting in front of him towards the door. You linger awkwardly, not knowing how to greet him.

"Hi," you whisper, nibbling at your bottom lip. "I was just... Sorry - I didn't know you had someone in. I saw no one outside." You pause to sigh. You didn't see anyone in the reception area so you automatically assumed everyone was on their lunch break, including your boyfriend.

You honestly think he'd be alone in his office. Not left alone with a blondie who looks so much like one of the women he's talked to abroad when you were on business trips. As much as you hate the idea, jealousy doesn't look good on you. It certainly does not elevate you to bring other women down just because they've got his attention.

You remind yourself that yes, Namjoon is your boyfriend, but he is also the CEO in charge of an entire empire.

He isn't yours. Will never be. And you figure you're okay with that. Understand his way of thinking before you become fond of him. The idea of him.

"Bad time?" You ask to which he shakes his head bashfully. You ignore the way the blonde woman looks at you like she's scrutinizing every part of you. Your slightly wavy hair that's tucked behind your ears, just the way Namjoon likes it, or the way you look so tiny in normal shoes.
