Avgi felt like she had stepped into some parallel world. The handsome lunatic in front of her was smiling at her in a very peculiar way.
"Are you planning to let me out of this room anytime soon sir or are you waiting to get arrested by the police when I call an emergency number?" Avgi asked as she pulled out her cell phone from her pocket and dialed emergency number.
The cell phone was taken away almost immediately and Avgi's mouth opened and closed like she was a fish out of water.
Avgi jumped down of the bed, too angry to think about her safety and tried to snatch the cell phone from the lunatic's hand.
Avgi jumped up to reach the cell phone that was being held high by the tall stranger. Avgi was too irritated at him and grabbed his earlobe as a last attempt to get back her cell phone.
Raphael handed her the cell phone out of pure instinct and his smile widened. Looked like his mate wasn't a pushover after all. She would hold her own quiet famously in the pack.
"I won't call the police if you will let me walk out of here safe and sound. I am going back and I promise you that you will not hear about this episode from anyone else if you don't come to harass me again," Avgi said and walked out of the room.
Raphael followed her leisurely as he tried to think of a way to explain about what she was to him. Her being a human was something he had no idea how to deal with.
Should he just blurt everything out and let her deal with it or should he maybe wait for a few more days to tell her about his being a supernatural being, he kept contemplating as he smiled secretly as he looked at her hips swaying from side to side.
Her body was slight in comparison to the females he was used to noticing but her temper was fierier than all the other females he had come across.
Hunter came across Avgi as she tried to outrun the stranger. The man was a total nutcase and was following her as if she hadn't threatened him.
Avgi had been looking over her shoulder, trying to figure out how to deal with him.
"Avgi what are you doing upstairs?" Hunter asked after a curious look towards his alpha that was so focused on the human female that he showed no indication of having noticed his presence.
"Hunter I am so glad to see you. Please take me back to the kitchen before the chef fires me." Avgi said and grabbed Hunter's hand with relief.
A sound like a wild animal's growl made her blood run cold. Hunter had also stopped still. Avgi looked over her shoulder and what she saw surprised her.
The man who had manhandled her earlier was growling and his eyes were glowing with an inhumane light. Avgi took a quick step back and rubbed her eyes to see if the lights had played a trick on her and what she had seen had been an illusion.
No luck of her being wrong though for his eyes were really glowing like that of an animal's. Avgi gulped and moved behind Hunter.
"Mine..." the stranger roared in an unrecognizable voice.
Hunter kneeled on the floor, making Avgi more scared.
"Hunter we need to run, can't you see that he is some supernatural freak. Come on get up and escape with me," Avgi said as she pulled Hunter's hand.
The volume of the growl intensified.
"Avgi let go of me. You must not touch me," Hunter said in a low voice.
Avgi let go at once and looked fearfully at the man who was walking towards her in long strides.
Avgi turned and ran but the growling man picked her up over his shoulder once again and she was taken to the room from where she had escaped. Avgi shouted at the top of her lungs and hit the man but he overpowered her easily.
