Y/n pushed open the doors to the arcade, immediately going over to the front counter to ask keith for a favor. "Keith! You back there?" She shouted, a rustling noise being heard from the back room and out came keith, munching on a different bag of chips. "What do you want, Harrington?" He asked, pulling out another chip with already stained fingers, chewing loudly on the stale chips. "I need a favor and dont worry, ive got a good deal for you," Y/n pulled out a out of order sign and took it to the digdug machine, taping it up before unplugging the machine. "I need you to lie to Max. When she goes to play digdug, tell her its out of order and you got a spare in the back!" Y/n reasoned with Keith. He looked away in thought, before turning back around, "What's in it for me?" Y/n smiled and pulled out a paper with numbers. "This is Nancy Wheelers number. Do this for me and this is yours." Keith smiled before nodding at the young harrington.Max had showed up later, when the arcade was almost full. She went straight to the digdug machine and groaned when she saw it was out of order. "Ahem! Sorry about that, but fret not, we have a spare in the back." Keith began to walk away and max hesitated, before following behind him. Once they reached the back room, he handed her his chips and unlocking the door. Max started to smile but it quickly faded when she saw Y/n on the other side. "Number." Keith said, holding out his hand. Y/n sighed and placed the number in his hand. "Nice doing business. Hey, and keep it pg in here, Harrington!" Keith joked before slamming the door. "What the hell is this shit, stalker?"
"I needed a safe space." "For what? To be creepy?" Y/n rolled her eyes and sat in a chair, pointing at the other chair in front of her for Max. She sighed loudly again and sat, waiting for Y/n to speak. "I need to know if you accept the risk?" Max rolled her eyes and began to stand but was stopped by Y/n, "Answer me. Do you accept the risk?" Y/n looked down at her arm and noticed some black veins. She quickly retracted her arm and looked at max with intensity, sweat beads starting to form on her face. "Yeah fine, whatever.""Wow." Was all max said when Y/n finished talking. "That was just wow. Crazy! but i liked it." "Liked it?" Y/n asked, confused on what was there to like. "Yeah. it was good." "You don't believe me?" "Of course not! You think im stupid?" Max stood and walked to the door, Y/n standing as well but now she was sweating a lot and she got lightheaded, falling over the wires and chairs. "Shit! Stalker, you alright?" Max went over to Y/n and helped her up, guiding her over to the bathroom. Y/n ran into a stall and began to vomit again, quickly flushing the black goop. She walked out the the sink and wiped her face as Max stood and waited. "Max, I wasnt lying, okay? We have lots of rules and one is friends dont lie." Max stared into Y/n's to find any sign she was lying then thought of something to solidify her story. "Show me proof." Y/n furrowed her eyebrows,"Proof? I dont have proof." A loud engine was heard outside so Max and y/n exited the bathroom, seeing Billy hargroves car. "Shit, its billy. Don't follow me out, he already doesnt like you." Max gave a quick peck to Y/ns cheek and walked out, leaving behind an already sweaty young harrington to sweat more and blush. Billy looked into the arcade and met eyes with her again.
