Leon S. Kennedy sat in an interrogation room. His police uniform still bloodied from the events of Raccoon City. Claire left soon after they escaped, she needed to find her brother Chris, Leon hadn't been looking after Sherry for long when they were apprehended by the National Guard. It felt like hours had passed for Leon. Adam Benford entered the room once more. He had been drilling Leon for information since he got there. "I've already told you what happened several times now. I want to see Sherry." Leon said annoyed with the agent.
"Sherry's in protective custody, if everything in your story is to be believed, Umbrella would probably go after her as she would be evidence and a witness connecting them to the disaster in Raccoon City. We also want to run some tests on her. We need to be sure that the g-virus is out of her system for good." Adam replied calmly. Leon leaned back in his chair and ran his hands through his hair. Adam slid a clipboard across the table,"My colleagues and I have discussed something. Because of your experience, we would like you to join STRATCOM. Higher ups think that bio weapons like the ones you faced in Raccoon City are going to become more common so we want you to join a new subset of STRATCOM dealing with these threats."
"So I'll be your 007 against bio weapons." Leon jokes as he looks at the contract in front of him. "I'll sign on one condition."
"Name it and it'll be done," Adam replied happily.
"I want Sherry to be kept in good hands so I want to know who exactly she will be living with and I want an on record guarantee that she won't be experimented on. I'm fine with making sure that the G-Virus is out of her system but anything else I'm not ok with. I also want to be able check in on her." As Leon listed this out Adams face got more and more frustrated looking.
"Is that all Officer Kennedy?"
"Yes sir." Leon responded quickly.
"Consider it done," Adam replied in a calm tone. Leon signed the dotted line and he was no longer a police officer but a federal agent.
"Now let me see Sherry," Leon said sternly. Adam gets up out of his chair and opens the door.
"Right this way."
