Rain pattered down the window, the storm had started to subside only to be replaced by the spine chilling moans of the dead. Hairs raise on Leon's neck. There is a scraping sound behind him. He turned and saw a woman in a red dress, her bone sticking out of her ankle. "A-Ada?" He stammered out, she then lunged at him and teared into his neck. He suddenly lurched out of bed, sweat dripped down his face, "That dream again."
He got out of bed and hit the showers. It had been 3 months and it was graduation day, the other cadets he trained with were jealous, they still had two months left in their training but because of his previous training as a police officer and his experience in Raccoon City, Leon was placed into an accelerated training program. After he got out of the shower he checked his watch, he still had a few hours to kill before the ceremony. He grabbed breakfast then got ready for graduation. It was shorter than he expected, right after he got off stage he was pulled aside by Adam. "Come with me, we have an assignment for you." Leon's eyes went wide, he didn't expect something so soon. Adam led him into a briefing room with a slide show prepared. "Leon we are sending you to an Umbrella facility, we believe that there are both T and G virus samples there from Raccoon City, if you can find them, we can link Umbrella to the incident, expose them to the public, and bring them down." Leon's eyes went wide then hardened."When do I start?" He asked ready to go.
"Tonight, pack your bags your flight is at 1700(5:00 pm) also go to the Quartermaster after you pack. You are dismissed." Leon nodded and headed back to his room to start packing. His mind raced with thoughts, is this going to be it? Umbrella is going down! He checked the file on his bed and flipped through it. Infiltration through an alias. I'll be playing Dr. Lenard Beach. A doctor and inspector from Umbrella. All the right paperwork is also there so I should be able to get in with little suspicion. Leon set down the file and headed over to the Quartermaster. When he entered he was taken aback by the size of the room. It had a workshop for cars, a lab for mixing chemicals and explosives, along with any other equipment an agent might need. The Quartermaster saw him and approached him. "Leon Kennedy I presume, I'm Charles McCrimmon." The two shake hands and McCrimmmon led Leon over to a table and on it was a briefcase, a flip phone, and a pair of shoes. "Now pay close attention Mr.Kennedy because these items could save your life."
"These?" Leon questioned picking up one of the shoes. McCrimmon scowled and smacked his hand which caused Leon to drop the shoe.
"Don't pick up my equipment before I tell you so. You could blow us to Jersey without knowing it. Thankfully you picked up one of your non-lethal items." He picked up one of the shoes. "These may look like ordinary shoes but there's more to them then meets the eye. You can slide back the heel revealing a hidden compartment, inside is a tracking device, you can activate it by sliding back the top and you can follow the signal on this." He picked up the flip phone and opened it and pressed the call button 3 times the screen shows that the tracking device is nearby. He then passed the tracker to Leon and had him walk across the room. It showed that the device was farther away. "With a map reference it can show where the tracker is specifically on the map. Right now there is a marker of you with a time code on it when it pings. The pings along with the time code will update on the receiver as someone moves."As Leon walked back over he closed the phone then took back the tracker and deactivated it then put it back in the compartment in the heel of the shoe. "The phone also doubles as a short range EMP device that you can activate by putting in a number combination of you choice." He handed the phone to Leon to put in his code. He thought for a second and then put in 9-23-98 The day my life changed is a good enough code.
He hands the phone back to McCrimmon. "Now only use the EMP as a last resort as it would fry both the tracker and the radio in the heel of your other shoe. Speaking of which, if you ever need to get out fast get the radio out of the bottom of your other shoe and hit the red button and it'll send out an SOS and choppers will be en route to get you out." He put the radio back into the shoe and set it down. "Now for my favorite. This may seem to be an ordinary briefcase but it is not, first off if someone doesn't open the case in the right sequence it'll send out an electric shock which would render them unconscious. So for that not to happen you must rotate the opening switches clockwise until you feel a click, after that you may open it without fear. Inside there is a hidden compartment which you can access through pressing the two buttons in the upper corners inside the case. The compartment itself makes anything inside hidden from both X-rays and metal detectors and has more than enough room to fit your H&K VP-70 and stock attachment in there, along with extra ammunition. You probably could fit a holster in there as well. Now for the final features, there are hidden throwing knifes on both sides of the case. The handles of the knife ejects out when you push down on the case openers." He pushed down on one and the handle of the knife pops out, he takes it out then places it back in."Thank you McCrimmon, they'll come in handy." Leon shook his hand .
"Please try to return my equipment in one piece Leon,"
"I'll try my best McCrimmon."The next few hours flew by for Leon and he was on his flight to the facility ready to take down Umbrella.
