From the very beginning
There was something about you
Something refined, sophisticated, something special that lit a fire in me
It must've been otherworldly, far deeper than the naked eye could scrutinize upon
But you could say it reeled me in like a child's eyes lighting up the moment it lays on their favorite candy
Fear courses through my veins with this realization, but in the trench, I'm drowning in
There they were, in all their glory
My miracle
Someone worth drawing all my cards for
Someone I wouldn't mind having my head underwater and in the clouds for
Someone I'd cross oceans, worlds, and galaxies for
Someone's gravity I wouldn't mind crashing in like a shooting star waiting to kiss the dense earth
I realize that dreams could become reality, that maybe not everything is only what you read in the books
Love, from the moment I met you, I was yours
And in the name of the stars above, may the stars in my eyes only shine for you
My light, my oxygen, my fuel, my constellation I was bound to catch
I present me to you
