It was early morning when Izuku walked into his classroom, a smile beaming as always. He loved coming to school, more than anything. He was quite popular, across the campus, and had a huge social life as well. Everybody was very nice to him. When he first started high school, it wasn't the case. But everything changed once his second gender was revealed; An Omega. Everybody became very nice to him, for Male Omegas are rare.
The small male opened the door to his classroom, eyes landing on a swarm of people, standing near his desk. It struck him odd, since people never usually waited for him. They'd always come greet him after he was seated. It didn't matter, though. Izuku shrugged it off, walking towards the small crowd. He managed to squeeze his way to his seat, sitting down. Eyes immediately landed on a certain blonde, seated in front of him. Midoriya had never seen him before... A new kid? Why was everybody so stuck to him?
The greenette frowned, looking over to his supposed friends, who were too busy paying attention to the unfamiliar blonde male. It didn't please him at all. This unknown boy was taking away the attention he usually received.
Izuku sat, remaining silent as the stranger's voice filled the air; explaining that he came from Japan, how he had very good grades and how much he liked America, so far. He also made several girls excited, just by saying he was single. All this seemed to please the people around him, but it wasn't the same for Midoriya.
Izuku's storming thoughts came to a stop once is professor came in, groaning to the students to take their seats.
Was he jealous of this strange blondie? Yes. Very much so.
Dinner time came along quickly and Midoriya sat alone, for the first time in years. He eyed the blonde newbie, wishing he'd be sent to Japan again. He felt quite lonely, and people were staring at him. He was uncomfortable, that's for sure.
The short Omega hid his whine, standing up as he gathered his things. He miserably stormed off into the hallways, rolling his eyes every time he heard the name Katsuki Bakugou. How could it be, that this new kid was taking away his popularity?
After walking for several minutes, Izuku reached an end of a hallway, where nobody usually went. It was quiet, and cold. The nearby classrooms were empty; unused. It was the deserted pat of school. Soft sobs escaped the freckled male's lips as he sat against a wall. He couldn't hide the tears streaming down his face, either. He knew if people saw him, they'd think he was dramatic. But there's a hidden side to his story, that nobody knows about. Even the people he'd usually hang out with; they didn't know. He knew they weren't true friends. Which is why he keeps his secrets to himself.
Midoriya flinched, hearing loud and quick footsteps approach him. He winced, trying to wipe away the tears, blinking several times to try and make his eyes look drier. Suddenly, a familiar silhouette appeared around the corner, stopping to regain its breath. Izuku couldn't help but frown, eyes taking in the blonde's features. He hadn't had the time to notice how the exchange student had ruby red eyes. How he had a defined jawline, and fluffy-looking hair. He had even looked past the charming, directed directly at him, as well as the whiskey smooth voice that was currently speaking to him.
"Hello? Are you alright?"
Midoriya blinked, suddenly realizing the blonde had been speaking to him. He looked down, shrugging nonchalantly.
"I'm fine." He spoke. He wished for the strange blonde to leave, but he took a seat next to him instead.
"Are you sure? You look like you've been crying- Your eyes are all puffy-" The blonde spoke, reaching his hand towards Izuku's face. The greenette slapped it away, wiping his eyes again.
"Allergies." He struggled to speak. A short silence roamed, before Katsuki broke it again.
"I see. I'm Katsuki Bakugou. You're in my class, right?" He questioned, smiling softly to the freckled male. Midoriya struggled to hold back a laugh, finding the situation a bit strange. This is usually what you'd see in a romance book. Where the sassy, short boy meets a handsome, kind boy. And they fall in love. But this is far from being a dumb story. Midoriya despises him. So, there's no chance of having even the slightest friendship between them.
"I'm Izuku Midoriya." The greenette shrugged, earning a wide smile from Bakugou.
"Nice to meet you. I come from Japan- I'm sorry if this is a little strange... I just wanted to get some time alone, away from the crowds. Do you mind if I stay here a little while?" Katsuki softly spoke, a smile across his face.
"Yes, I do mind, actually. I want to be alone." Izuku rudely spoke, grabbing his bag as he stormed off.
Little did he know, he had left something quite personal behind.
Something that would lead to yet another awkward encounter.
An encounter that would begin their own Romance Story, that Izuku believed wasn't possible.
I hope you enjoyed the first chapter- The next one should be longer, and way more interesting. Have a nice day! :)
