Sam's POV

Dean and I sprinkled gas all over him, we didn't want him becoming some spirit. I can't imagine actually losing my brother. Not forever at least. I looked back to see if Milani was ok. Her brown eyes were full of tears and were surrounded with mascara all around the bottom.

I didn't know what to say other than "I'm sorry for your loss". Approaching her, she looked up and turned her face the other way. As if she was embarrassed to show any sign of "weakness". All I could do was give her a reassuring grin that told her everything was going to be ok.

"It's weird, you know? We talked about the day he wouldn't be here. You're never really prepared for the day you'd have to actually say goodbye. Now I feel like shit. We hardly ever got along."

"Don't be so hard on yourself."

"I've lost everything. My mom, my brother. It all just feels so surreal."

"Well, you got me and Dean."

She gave me a half grin before looking down at her feet.

"Do you want me to do it or...?" Dean said towards us, talking to Milani.

He had the box of matches in his hand. Milani got up and walked towards him. Grabbing the matches, she let out a small sigh. She took one and lit it. I put my hand on her shoulder for comfort, to let her know she wasn't alone. Throwing the match to the ground, her brother's body lit up in flames.

"So this Milani chick, where do you suppose we take her?" Dean said.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean the one person she had left is donzo too."

"I don't know, Dean. Her brother mentioned something about finding their father."

"Great, then let's start with the yellow pages."

"I don't know, but it seems much more complicated than that."

"What do you mean, Sammy?"

"I mean, there's something that's missing. Something seems off."

"What do you mean something feels off?"

"I don't know. It's weird. I can't quite put my finger on it."

"Maybe you just dig her? I mean it's been a while since you've, you know, used the pipes."

"Dean, no. That's not it." I said shaking my head.

"Well, we've got to take her to the bunker if she has nowhere else to go."

"Fine, I'll go talk to her."

--------------------------------

"No way. I'm not sitting in a locked up dungeon like place while I wait for you and that princess."

I laughed at the way she called Dean a princess.

"Well you don't have any other family to stay with do you?"

"I've never met them."

"Oh."

"Can't I just go with you guys and hunt things down?"

The door flew open and Dean walked.

"No way in hell you are." He said.

"And why not?" She proceeded.

"You nearly got killed."

"He's right, it's too dangerous." I jumped in.

"Hunting is all I've ever known. Please just give me a chance."

I looked at her and she had her eyes lit up like a puppy dog.

"Ok, fine." I said, melting.

"What?! No?!" Dean exclaimed.

"Too bad, I'm coming now." Milani cheered.

"Fine, but since I'm the driver, I pick the music. Number one rule is don't touch my stereo."
