~(Y/N)'s POV~
I walked outside of the cozy house, seeing Asgore sitting on the ground drinking a bottle of water. I clicked onto the "call" button for Nightmare's contact and put the phone to my ear. Half a second later, Nightmare's panicked voice came over the phone. "(Y/N)! Are you alright?!" "Nice to talk to you again, too, Night." A sigh from the other end of the phone caused a small frown to cross my face. "You...feeling okay, Night?" "I...I haven't heard from you in two months. I-I thought you..," Nightmare's voice went silent towards the end, and I could only imagine what he was thinking.
"I'm fine, Night. I...lost track of time, I guess. But you could've visited me, y'know?" "I'm aware, (Y/N). We...should catch up." "Yeah, I...I guess. I don't know, Nightmare. I'm just..." I put my hand over my face, feeling anger and a headache coming on. "I'm not feeling really good, right now." "What's wrong? Are you hurt?" The caring in his voice didn't help, it just made me angrier. "Oh, so now you care?! I'm nothing to you, for two goddamn months, but now you care about me?! No, you know what?! Fuck off, I don't need you!" I hung up and threw my phone into a bush.
"Damnit." I walked towards the bush and, as I reached to get my phone, something grabbed me. I jerked back and saw some weird, purple thing clinging onto my arm. It had razor sharp teeth in the center of its body, a red eye staring at me. It seemed to hesitate before biting into my skin. The pain rang through me, but I couldn't speak or move. I watched the retched thing cut a hole into my arm and burrow in, my skin pulsing unnaturally. Just before it completely disappeared into my arm, a hand grabbed it.
I tried with all my SOUL to look up, and saw the face of a skeleton, a Sans. With unmatched eyes and a black splatter on his cheek, this skeleton was unlike any other I had seen. They merely tucked the thing into their long. beige scarf, before looking at me. "Jeez, you don't look so good, pal! Here, I'll help you!" The skeleton bent down an picked my up, having little trouble. I felt my face heat up, but I was also kinda confused. "Don't you worry, pal! I'm taking you to my healer friend, okay?"
Considering I could barely move, I just sat their, in this random skeleton's arms. The skeleton walked towards a puddle of spilled paint next to a tipped over pain can. Their grip tightened and they jumped in, making me a bit nauseous. When we landed, the skeleton laughed a bit. "Here we are, my home!" The skeleton put my onto the large, black couch, which was covered in paint splatter. "Now, I gotta go give this little guy," he pulled out the weird purple creature, "back to his friend! See ya soon!"
The skeleton dashed out of the room, did he forget I was kinda sorta bleeding out?! "𝕺𝖍? 𝕬𝖓𝖉 𝖜𝖍𝖔 𝖒𝖎𝖌𝖍𝖙 𝖞𝖔𝖚 𝖇𝖊, 𝖍𝖚𝖒𝖆𝖓?" someone said, suddenly coming into view. It was another skeleton, this one in a black cloak from their head to their feet. I tried to speak, and barely got my name out. "(Y...Y/N)..," the skeleton smirked, their empty eyes boring into my SOUL. "𝕳𝖚𝖍. 𝕬𝖗𝖊 𝖞𝖔𝖚 𝖋𝖗𝖎𝖊𝖓𝖉𝖘 𝖜𝖎𝖙𝖍 𝖔𝖓𝖊 𝖔𝖋 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖔𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖗 𝕲𝖔𝖉𝖘? 𝕴'𝖛𝖊 𝖍𝖊𝖆𝖗𝖉 𝖙𝖍𝖆𝖙 𝖓𝖆𝖒𝖊 𝖇𝖊𝖋𝖔𝖗𝖊. 𝕷𝖊𝖙'𝖘 𝖘𝖊𝖊...𝕿𝖔𝖗𝖎? 𝕹𝖔...𝕻𝖆𝖕𝖘? 𝕹𝖆𝖍...𝖍𝖒..."
As I tried to speak again, a familiar and terrifying face came into view. Dream. "Oh, it's you. I thought you would be dead by now. Pity." The robed skeleton turned to Dream quickly, their cloak smacking me in the face. "𝖂𝖔𝖆𝖍, 𝕯𝖗𝖊𝖆𝖒. 𝕿𝖍𝖆𝖙 𝖜𝖆𝖘...𝖒𝖊𝖆𝖓." "No shit, Death. I hate this disgusting human. Making my poor brother weak. I sent a parasite to kill them and inhabit their body, but I guess it didn't work out."
The skeleton in black, Death, clenched their fists. "𝕯𝖗𝖊𝖆𝖒, 𝖜𝖍𝖆𝖙'𝖘 𝖌𝖔𝖙𝖙𝖊𝖓 𝖎𝖓𝖙𝖔 𝖞𝖔𝖚?!" Dream's gaze felt like fire on my skin, burning me in every area. "Nothing, Death. I'm just so sick of my dear brother being infected by this wretched human. He is mine and mine alone. I should've killed you when I had the chance! A blue arrow was lodged into my shoulder, causing something to crack. I screamed, and screamed. As loud as I could.
I screamed. And screamed. And screamed.
It all went black.
And screamed. And screamed. And screamed.
I was in a black void now, nothing there.
And screamed. And screamed. And screamed. Until...
Until it started screaming back.

"𝙷𝚎𝚕...𝙷𝚎𝚕𝚕𝚘? (𝚈/𝙽), 𝚌𝚊𝚗 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚑𝚎𝚊𝚛 𝚖𝚎?" "What...where...where am I?" I pushed off the black ground, looking around. A figure approached. Their hair was a dark brown, complimenting their almost black eyes. Their tan skin was a stark contrast to their clothes. They were the biblical depiction of an angel's clothes, except in black. "𝚈𝚘𝚞'𝚛𝚎 𝚍𝚎𝚊𝚍, (𝚈/𝙽). 𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝚙𝚘𝚘𝚛, 𝚙𝚘𝚘𝚛 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐. 𝚈𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚝𝚒𝚖𝚎 𝚠𝚊𝚜𝚗'𝚝 𝚞𝚙 𝚢𝚎𝚝." The figure pulled a golden pocket watched from their robe, swinging it in front of their face.
"𝙰𝚑, 𝚢𝚎𝚜, 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝'𝚜 𝚠𝚑𝚢. 𝙸 𝚛𝚎𝚐𝚛𝚎𝚝 𝚝𝚘 𝚒𝚗𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚖 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚖𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚢 𝚠𝚊𝚜 𝚎𝚛𝚊𝚜𝚎𝚍. 𝚃𝚑𝚒𝚜...𝚒𝚜 𝚗𝚘𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚙𝚊𝚝𝚑 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚜𝚝𝚘𝚛𝚢 𝚠𝚊𝚜 𝚖𝚎𝚊𝚗𝚝 𝚝𝚘 𝚝𝚊𝚔𝚎." I grabbed my head and looked up, seeing their pupils shift from normal, human eyes into clocks, ticking away. "What...do you mean by that?" "𝙷𝚘𝚠 𝚌𝚊𝚗 𝙸 𝚙𝚞𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚒𝚗 𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚍𝚜 𝚊 𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚝𝚊𝚕 𝚌𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚞𝚗𝚍𝚎𝚛𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚗𝚍...𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚜𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝚘𝚏 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝙶𝚞𝚊𝚛𝚍𝚒𝚊𝚗 𝚘𝚏 𝙿𝚘𝚜𝚒𝚝𝚒𝚟𝚒𝚝𝚢 𝚒𝚜 𝚠𝚊𝚛𝚙𝚎𝚍. 𝙷𝚎'𝚜 𝚋𝚎𝚎𝚗 𝚌𝚘𝚛𝚛𝚞𝚙𝚝𝚎𝚍 𝚋𝚢 รєﻮภเร."
The last word was imperceptible by the ear, a word that didn't exist. I could tell they were talking, but the word itself made no sense. "𝙸𝚝 𝚕𝚘𝚘𝚔𝚜 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎 รєﻮภเร 𝚑𝚊𝚜 𝚏𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚍 𝚞𝚜. 𝙳𝚊𝚖𝚗, 𝙸 𝚝𝚑𝚘𝚞𝚐𝚑𝚝 ค๓คгє'𝚜 𝚜𝚙𝚎𝚕𝚕 𝚠𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚋𝚎 𝚊𝚋𝚕𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚠𝚊𝚛𝚍 𝚑𝚒𝚖 𝚘𝚏𝚏. 𝚀𝚞𝚒𝚌𝚔𝚕𝚢, (𝚈/𝙽), 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚗𝚎𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚘 𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚔𝚎 𝚑𝚒𝚖 𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚘𝚏 𝚒𝚝! 𝙳𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚖 𝚒𝚜 𝚒𝚗 𝚐𝚛𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚍𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚎𝚛, (𝚈/𝙽)! 𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝚖𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚜𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚑𝚒𝚖! 𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝚖𝚞-" I was pulled from the emptiness, suddenly back in my body. I jolted up, seeing Nightmare and Dream fighting. The skeleton from before, with the scarf, was trying to stop Dream.
I remember the words from the figure of before. 'Grave danger?' I...need to save him? After all he's done? Should I..?
Dunno, should they? MWAH HA HA, IM FORCING INTERACTION! Yes, you read right, reader! You get to pick if (Y/N) saves Dream or not! I, uh...dunno when I'll stop taking in answers, but I'll probably stop in like a week.
Also, I'm planning on starting another X Reader book, UT or not. If you have any ideas, lemme know! Alright, author out, bruh.
