505- ARCTIC MONKEYS
"in my imagination you're waiting lying on your side with your hands between your thighs"
"All Might won but now we are left with no symbol of peace. What will become of our city? What will the future hold?"
The only thing on the news is that fight that happened. The fight that put All Might into retirement. I never cared much for heroes or villains. It could be because I can't actually see the destruction that villains make or how hard heroes fight to protect citizens, or it could be because I don't have a quirk and I wouldn't be accepted into that part of society anyway.
Nonetheless that's why I was listening to the high pitched, professional voice of the reporter lady. As the reporter went on about the fight I folded my laundry on the coffee table.

I can't believe this shit happened to me. I took a right turn down another alley way. I had my left hand on my side trying to stop the bleeding. My body ached everywhere and it seemed like I was getting fucking nowhere.
I saw a building with no lights on. It looked like a complete shithole. I could stop there for the night and sleep it off before finding the league.

I reached for the next piece of clothing to fold and my hand met the smooth table. I got up with my heavy and full basket of folded clothes and went through my hallway brushing my hand against the wall until my hand was met with a doorframe. I had my bedroom completely memorized in my head and if anything was out of place I would know. I gently and slowly put my folded clothing away. The T.V. was still on as I did my chore. It was the only voice that I would hear until next week, when Anna comes by with my groceries.
I finished putting my clothes up and slowly went back the way I came to turn the T.V. off. As soon as I placed my hand on the remote, which was always placed on the left corner of the coffee table, I felt someone walk into the room. The presence was unknown and it felt dark. However the only person that it could possibly be was Anna.
"Anna is that you?"
The presence didn't answer and instead got uncomfortably closer. My breath hitched and I stepped back in fear. A hand was placed firmly on my neck. It started to heat up and I could feel my eyes start to water. As the hand grew hotter I screamed louder. I could feel my skin burning and charring. It was suffocating and my mind couldn't focus on anything.
Suddenly the burning left my neck. My hands immediately touched the scared skin. It was rough and peeling. My hands wrapped gently around my neck as I relaxed. The heat coming off my neck transferred to my hands and a smile grew on my face. The warmth was a nice feeling.
