my entire body began to get covered in black marks as my form began to transform as blue blades began to erupt from my arms she was shocked by this golden horns grew on my head pointing forwards and spikes erupted from my shoulders pointing up and back fortunately so it didn't hit kyoka who was sitting on my back and i grew a black with like cape
"hold on" i said as i took a running stance hearing me she grasped the shoulder spike with her left hand her right holding tightly on the chain as her knees gripped my sides
i shot forward breaking the sound barrier and appeared as lightning appearing outside the dorm
"so fast" she said in awe
"this is my devil slave form" i said she nodded in understanding as she dismounted and released the transformation i also released my devil trigger
"is that the extent of your power" she asked i looked at her
"no, no it's not" she said
"you would be correct, it is not" i said after she and i both changed into our respective uniforms we rushed to the meeting room
"we found this on patrol" himari said showing us a tablet on it was rather large crater with an impressive amount of shuuki hiding within
"nei is using her clairvoyance to watch the location as we speak" himari said
"nothing is leaving the crater at the moment it's as if it were a crater, it's almost like it were a nest" nei reported
"well done, a nest is well worth destroying, and it will give us an opportunity to learn how the shuuki live, this is an excellent job for the 7th unit" kyoka said complimenting nei
it didn't take long for the unit to arrive at the location do to me teleporting us there with yamato's power
"please let us take care of this, i don't want to rely on your power completely, only step in if there is an emergency, please" kyoka asked knowing full well giving orders to me was useless
"very well, i shall allow you to fight, would you like a blade" i asked she shook her head
"as i said i have been relying too much on your power" she said nodded
as the started to coordinate their attack i felt something coming towards us
"asura-kannon" i said as i held out my hand and a circle of blades formed protecting us from the coming assault just in time as a massive fist came down which the swords blocked
the attack came from a one-horned demon, one i thought was eerily similar to the one kyoka described the attack was so strong that the blades lost their formation and i had to tank the attack with the blade i was holding what made matters worse was there was a woman on the shuuki's back that looked eerily familiar
"IT'S HIM" kyoka shouted her fury forming i took the distraction to attack the woman the one-horned i had promised to kyoka after all
"the problem is i have fought things similar to your big friend" i said as i tried to strike at her with my asuramaru but her hair struck me away
"tch" i said
"your pretty strong, fast too" the woman complimented
"i do not wish for your compliments woman, who are you" i said
"you can call me the counter to the anti-demon corps" she replied as she grabbed a few mato peaches with her hair
"by the way have you seen my adopted brother, he is probably the most handsome man in the world" she said as she took a bite out of the peach much to our shock as the limit was only supposed to be one
at this point i had enough and charged the shuuki and the woman kyoka directly behind me, the two started to get overwhelmed by yuuichiro alone this was when more shuuki started to attack
"tch" i said yet again
"your the leader huh" i asked while increasing his attacks about to use his judgement cut as she was starting to have trouble blocking his strikes
"gh..... your only half right, but you know nothing about mato or this curse filled world" she shouted at me
"your getting a bit slower i guess it's time to finish you i'll leave your friend for my partners revenge" i said as i sheathed my sword but as his focus concentrated on her he stopped
"yuuichiro" kyoka said noticing my hesitation
"t-there's no way, it can't be" i said as he noticed himari and shushu's exhausted forms barely holding off the shuuki i decided to leave her to help them
"judgement cut" i chanted as i cut down the shuuki the two girls were fighting
"wait yuuichiro we have...." she stopped at seeing her were in no shape to continue
"clean up this mess yuuichiro, and call cavaliere i'll take them back" kyoka said i nodded and whistled for my trusty bike which rolled up she mounted it while holding her subordinates and driving off at max speed i used another judgement cut before disappearing in a yamato portal back to the dorm
"was that really her" i asked myself
