kyoka was not happy as she noticed a very interesting mark on himari's neck
"where'd you get that mark" kyoka asked
"part of yuuichiro's price he wanted my blood, the price is worth it" himari replied
"thank you" kyoka said as she went to find HER partner she slammed him against the wall i could tell she was pissed off
"why in the hell are you forcing himari to give you blood" she asked
"any one who uses your power and asks me will be under a similar contract kyoka" i replied calmly
"then why haven't you once taken blood from me" she asked
"extenuating circumstances and because i chose to let you use me instead of having me use you" i replied
"damn it, yuu" she said as she slammed her lips against mine my eyes widened
"please, i need it" she begged she didn't want to lose her partner or the man she was falling in love with i looked at her before moving her head to the side and biting into her neck as she wanted drinking her blood, it was intoxicating himari's was great but kyoka's was so much better after releasing her i pulled her into a searing kiss of my own
"we need to talk about this" i said she nodded
we went to her office and she locked the door
"i am falling in love with you" she said
"i think that was obvious the moment you slammed your lips against mine, look kyoka, i like you too truly, however, if we do this and something happens to you i will fall into the deepest depths of despair when that happens i will become an undefeatable monster, your power is already cataloged and i have a feeling i will soon be getting himari's as well" i said
"is that your latent desire the one that trumps the other, your desire for love" she asked i shook my head
"no but your close love is certainly part of it, i desire family, i have had a family thrice in my life all three times they were taken from me, i am worried if i get to close" i said she kissed me
"how can you lose me when you and i work hand in hand with each other, you protect me just as i protect you, and i have known you, long enough to know you have a power that will bring my power out to it's fullest" she said i nodded
"your right, i have yet to test it obviously but i do have something in the works himari will be helping me with that as part of our contract she is to be my guinea pig" i said
"why wasn't it part of ours" kyoka asked
"because of your rank" i replied she nodded it made sense
"how are we gonna work this, what are we" i asked
"i would say let's take this slow but in our line of work that's not a good idea, if we die we will do so together, though in a few years when i reach my later twenties, i want you to turn me" she said i looked at her in shock
"my goal has changed, i don't just intend to become commander i intend to protect humanity for as long as possible even if it means giving up my own humanity, i will do it by the one i love" kyoka said
"i-as you wish, but no sex yet, let's wait for a while, and get acquainted in our new relationship, also being nearly completely immortal will make us both very bored of each other quickly" i said she smiled
"i thought of that, and don't really want to deal shushu's jealousy or himari once she figures out her own feelings for you, which i know she has, i have known her long enough to understand the girl like the back of my hand, though with how far ahead you are i doubt i will get bored of you ever" kyoka said i chuckled
"i should find himari before she starts questioning why we are locked in a room together" i said
"would be wise" kyoka said i gave her a kiss before getting up and leaving the room to join himari to continue training
