Tired. That was the only word that could describe Alex right now.
Ever since they return from the trip, Alex had forgotten the Ven Conmigo tour was supposed to happen the moment they came back. Only having a couple of weeks of rest, which he isn't complaining about, the band instantly set out on the road.
Selena y Los Dinos had performed in all the cities of Texas. It was honestly incredible how much her popularity had skyrocketed from the late 80s to the start of the 90s. The Queen of Tejano music was already a well-known artist and singer to the point where she couldn't be alone.
Abraham wanted the band to perform all over texas before they set out to perform in the northern and southern states of America. If things go well, which they will, they'll eventually perform in Mexico.
That's the goal of the band, to get done performing in Texas before venturing into the other states to make Selena the iconic superstar she was in Alex's time.
Though they accomplished a huge margin of the goals, the band was worn out by all the performances every day. They needed to rest, especially the singer; Selena. Nobody would want her healthy to get harmed.
And they were glad they decided to take a couple of days off before continuing. Furthermore, to enjoy their time off, they all decided to grab something to eat. It was hard at first for them to decide where to go - until Selena's constant nagging that she wanted Jack in the box - in the end, they ended up agreeing - much to the Queen of Tejano enlightenment.

Pushing the door forward, bells chimed, Alex stood at the entrance, inhaling the appetizing smell of food. On cue, his stomach growled for nutrients. And it was best to comply - he hadn't ate all day.
He gazed at his surroundings, noticing the lack of people inside, which he didn't complain about, it's better like that. He wasn't surprised at the mundane state of the restaurant, it was the afternoon after all. No one would want to be out by now.
Glancing at his watch, Alex noticed he was late. He and Chris were supposed to meet up with the band in front of the restaurant 20 minutes ago - he could already imagine Suzette scolding them.
Shaking his head, Alex was ready to find the group before feeling a hand on his shoulder. Turning towards the person to whom the hand belongs, he smiled at his friend/idol.
"You know we are late, right?" Chris said.
"I'm aware."
"And you are aware it was your fault, right?"
The dark-haired male rolled his eyes. "Chris, for the last time, it isn't my fault the showerhead wasn't working. I was taking the time to fix it - that's why I took long in the bathroom."
"Either way, it's still your fault," Chris said with a smirk, earning a glare from Alex.
"Whatever. Are you ready to find a table? I'm starving."
"Sure. Follow me, little homie," Chris dissed, making his way towards the empty dining table at the right corner.
"Your hair looks like a bird's nest."
Alex let out a chortle as Chris flipped him off. Sighing to himself, he followed behind the other guitarist, waving at one of the employees.
As they made their way to the table, the familiar chattering of the group's voices entered their ears. Alex smiled as the laughter of a familiar singer was heard where he was.
On cue, Alex's gaze fell on the table where his friends were, or more importantly, where Selena is. She sat in the middle of the table, on her left were Suzette and Ricky, while on her right were Mercella, A.B, and Joe.
