"I don't hate you Murad,I disgust you",her words still rang in my head,of course,I wasn't expecting her to say she has forgiven me,but I didn't expect that outburst,I decided to go see Fatima so we could make up.
Halimat's POV
I was in the kitchen thinking of Murad's apology,I don't know if I should laugh or get angry,does he think after all he's din I'd ever forgive him ? I disgust him and it will stay that way.
"Halimat what is wrong with you,the food is burning !",Mama Hamida (Zainab's mother scolded).
"Oh dear ! I'm so sorry",I said and took out the food.
"Dear are you OK ?"
"I'm fine",I replied and started to clean up.

Later at night,I was staring at the stars and I got sad looking at them,I remember when my sister and I were young,she'd say she was this star and I'd pick another.
" I really miss you",I said with a teary face,I wonder if my sister is dead or alive ? wherever you are,I hope you are happy,all of you,I thought of the fact that Atheer was to be a father soon,our happiness just ended in one day,I swear that I'll make the ones who made us miserable pay and justice will be served,I heard a knock at the door and dried my tears,no one needed to tell me who it is.

"Sorry to disturb you,but I wanted to have a chit chat since I wasn't sleepy".
"Its OK".
"Halimat you've been lost in your own thoughts ever since,did something happen ?" Zainab asked and I sighed deeply,I told her everything and she was surprised,then grinned.
"Hey ! why are you smiling ?"
"Nothing".
"Come on tell me",I pleaded curiously.
"Not yet,I'm not jumping into conclusions already".
"Come on tell me", I pleaded again with puppy eyes.
"OK then,I think prince Murad is concerned about you",she said grinning and I frowned.
"No way ! hey dont joke that way its not funny,I said and she laughed,Zainab it's not funny".
"Well you're the one taking it the other way round",she said laughing.
"Because that's what you mean,I said still angry and she kept laughing,I grabbed my pillow and hit her,get out of my room",I said hitting her continuously while she hit me with her hands,I would've laughed as we played but what she said was annoying.
"Fine,fine I'm leaving,but wait lemme ask you something ?"
"Go ahead".
"Why you so mad ?"
"Because what you said is annoying and you do know how I feel towards him".
"I do,but please do me a favor Halimat",she said sounding serious.
"What ?" I asked softly.
"Dont hate hin too much,you might end up falling for him".
"What ! no way ! I yelled angrily,OK you've overstayed your welcome,get going", I said pushing her out and she pecked my cheeks laughing.
"Good night", she said and I shut the door,I laid on my bed but her words were still in my head,no way ! it's not possible.
