i had a dream, i got everything i wanted.

Vance Hopper, a 14 year old with anger issues. A boy with baby blue eyes, and rough looking curly blonde hair.

No one knows what's going on in his life, no one knows him, really. They just know his name, and what he's done. They know him by his stories.

But sometimes, they ain't true at all. People exaggerated a bit, you know. He was afraid, he did cry, he wasn't at all what people thought he was, really.

He's a bit of an introvert, so he prefers being alone at times, he doesn't daily beat people up, who the fuck does that. He enjoys playing Pinball because it's his way of coping, if it isn't a Pinball Machine then it's at an abandoned park somewhere behind a building, on the squeaky swings.

He's not much of a crybaby, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a soft spot.

› not what you'd think, and if i'm being honest it might've been a nightmare..

Vance was a loner. He was everything that no one expected him to be. He had pride, just not a big one.

And getting abducted made that clear, Vance Hopper wasn't that strong. No one expected it, honestly. But they knew he had it coming. They as in the ones he beat up and slashed mud over his name.

Vance was laying on the mattress, staring at the ceiling. How long had he been out for, was it already morning, where was he? He huffed, getting up.

Furious, he picked up the mattress and pushed it over to the side, tearing up the tiles on the floor, punching at the walls till his knuckles bled. Screaming and grunting every time he clawed at the broken wall.

He continued this until the place looked like a storm just happened. But that wasn't enough, he wanted to murder someone, whoever had held him captive.

He slammed his body against the door, kicking and punching it, slamming his body against it once again. He was so aggressive with what he was doing that if you were on the other side, you'd think there was a monster trying to escape.

And there was.

A monster. Vance was a monster, atleast to anyone that lay eyes on him in town, ask him what they thought of Vance Hopper and you wouldn't be surprised to hear the word "Beast."

Vance screamed and shouted all the cuss words he knew, expecting someone to barge in. But no one did.

Vance huffed again, slamming his foot against the metal door, walking back to the torn up mattress he had ripped open with his nails, laying down on it.

to anyone who might care. thought i could fly, so i stepped off the golden.

Vance had a suicidal past. Why, was it because of the school, was it his problematic parents, or was it just everyone and everything, these aren't exactly wrong, but they aren't the reason.

Now if you asked Vance why he wanted to take his life, he would shrug and walk away. He didn't know, or he acted like that.

The truth is, he hates himself. Who wouldn't, he already knows everyone hates him for who he is, he doesn't blame them. He's a coward, he's a selfless wannabe, he's only human.

He would've opened up to someone, atleast a close friend or his mother, but he chose to keep to himself. He can't risk looking weak, the last time he did it was taken as an advantage.

So he doesn't ask for help, he doesn't want to affect anyone with his problems. But he likes it that way, being on his own. He's just misunderstood, nobody gets him at all. He's just a really naughty delinquent that nobody liked.
