Chapter 4

Caleb's P.O.V
I was walking towards the woods where I knew Annie had to be there because she couldn't be anywhere else; but as I walking down a dark street that looks haunted with huge trees and big houses got me nervous but I had to give up my fear, until I seen a man standing near a car looking at me got me closing my eyes praying for it to be all a fake dream. As my eyes opened the man was still there but I knew I had to keep walking ahead and as I did, the man who was staring was just smoking a cigarette and went back inside. I could feel my body relieved so much and my guilt disappearing quickly which was a great feeling. After walking nearly 10 miles to the woods near Six Flags was so tiring I could fall asleep on the road... When I appeared at the woods, I tiptoed through the bushes trying to find Annie, after 1 hour of searching, I got scared she was gone forever and that Mom and Dad was maybe right about that wasn't my sister screaming! I wasn't going to give up though about coming this far to leave so I kept walking quietly through the forest until I seen that looked like a girl on a tree asleep, I walked closer to see if it was her and when I found out Annie was tied to that tree I cried so much in myself just so no one can hear me. I woke her up quickly and said "It's me Caleb" she woke up terrified but I knew she was happy to see me, I tried to un-tie her but this rope was so thick it was impossible.

Annie's P.O.V
I was being tied to this tree until I heard Caleb next to me trying to un-tie me, I felt so happy that he was here to get me but he couldn't un tie me because it was hard for him, at that moment I got so scared because this man might show up and hurt him which I didn't want to happen, I tried helping him but I couldn't, until he finally loosened up the rope for me to escape!

Caleb's P.O.V
When Annie was able to escape, me and her ran so fast through the woods until Annie turned back and seen this man chasing us and I knew it was that 300' pound man from last night. Me and Annie screamed as we ran but I kept yelling "KEEP RUNNING" Annie.  It felt like we ran for hours until we noticed he wasn't behind us anymore so we stopped for a catch of breath. We were still far from the house so we stayed the rest of the night next to this 24hr gas station and just layed there until sun came up.
