Chapter 3

Caleb's P.O.V
As I felt a hand onto my back I knew my first instinct was to fight until I was able to run away so I immediately punched him in the face so hard my hand started swelling from the impact but he fell on the ground, so I ran as fast as I could back to the car but then I heard another screaming noise back behind me and I kept thinking to myself "Annie is back there in the woods, I stood there thinking to go back and get her or run to the car where Mommy, Daddy and Hayley is yelling and crying... at this moment this guy who looked like a 300' pound man got back up running toward the woods where I knew Annie was somewhere. I couldn't leave her behind but do I want to risk being kidnapped or killed by this guy to help Annie. It wasn't too long before I made up my decision to run toward the car where mom and dad kept yelling my name.

Billy's P.O.V
I called the police immediately but the call kept ending and saying "NO SIGNAL" I yelled of anger. I then told Katie 'we have to go home to get signal' until she yelled "IM NOT LEAVING WITHOUT ANNIE, JUST FOR SIGNAL"  there isn't no way for us to get her unless we do what Caleb just did I replied! which obviously wasn't the best decision... So we drove home, Hayley and Caleb crying of fear in the car with there sister being gone.  As we got home, I had a doubt and said to Katie "What if that isn't Annie screaming in the woods" it could be someone else?

Katie's P.O.V
What Billy just said wanted me to punch him for that crazy stupid idea that got me even more upset. But on the second thought, he could be right. We will just wait until tomorrow morning and we will go back and search. I explained to Caleb and Hayley, Caleb was more furious then ever as he shouted WERE NOT WAITING TIL MORNING, THAT MAN CAN KILL HER TONIGHT.

Caleb's P.O.V
Mom and Dad just ignored me and said "let's go to bed, we will get her tomorrow when it'll be more light" I then ran to my room mad and upset the fact my parents don't care! As I tried falling asleep, I just remembered the promise of when I said "I'll always protect you".  I cried and sobbed even more in my pillow as I whispered 'I lied to my own family about a promise I made'.

It was around 3:00 am when I woke up suddenly and said "I need to get her" I quietly unlocked the front door, walked outside and closed it back. Walking down a pitch black deserted road to the woods near Six Flags got me butterflies in my stomach. Then in the far distance, I seen a man standing next to a car looking at me. I immediately closed my eyes and said "This is all a dream" panicking fearfully.
